Chapter eight

I stand in the front room with my two brothers, waiting for my date to get here! I in my beautiful dress, matching shoes and mask, and my now black hair curled. My brothers in suits, that I forced them to wear. There's a knock on the door, and my heart starts fluttering. "Come in!" Damon says. Elena comes in a simple shirt and jeans, Jermey comes in looking amazing. Elena walks up to Stefan and kisses him. Jermey just stares at me. "W-wow! You look...... amazing!" I blush. "Why thank you kind sir!" I say bowing. I walk over to him and pull my phone out of my pocket. I turn it on selfie nods and we take a picture. I look at Elena. "Are you gonna get in here or what?" She smiles and walks over to me. Her, Jermey, and I stick out our tongues. I motion for my brothers to join me and they do. We take a group picture then I take one of Stefan kissing me on one cheek and Damon kissing me on the other. I smile and click it. "Have fun guys!" Elena says walking out. I loop my arm with Jeremy's and we lead the way to the car. The two of us sit in the backseat, Stefan in the passenger seat, and Damon driving. Jermey leans over and surprises me by kissing me on the cheek.  I smile and blush hard. I see Damon glaring at us from the rear view I laugh and smirk. "What's wrong Dammie?" "Nothing!" He replies to quickly.

We pull up and jump out of the car. Jermey loops our arms and Damon steals my other arm. "I'm gonna look killer walking in with three guys with me!" I say mainly to myself, but they hear and laugh. We walk up to the house, and I turn to Mayor Lockwood. "I don't think we have been properly introduced! I'm Emilin Salvatore!" "George Lockwood! This is my wife Carol, and my son Tyler! Come on in!" I walk through the barrier and smirk. Jermey pulls me away from my brothers and we go to the dance floor. "Do you know how to dance?" "I'm older then Stefan and Damon! Of course I do!" He smiles and puts one arm around my waist. He grabs my other hand, and I put my free arm around his neck. We start dancing and I smile. "Look Emilin, I really really like you!" I smile and blush. "I really like you to!" He smiles. "You do?" "Yes! You make me so very happy! I don't think I just like you! I think I may..... love you!" He smiles. "I think I love you to!" He says causing me to smile. "Do you wanna.... be my..... girlfriend?" "I would love to! That would be very awesome!" I say hugging him. He kisses me and I blush. I feel a tap in my shoulder. "Jermey, I need you to go rain in your sister! Emilin, come with us! I think there's someone here you wanna stake!" Stefan says. "She's here!" Jermey and I say at the same time. He nods. I kiss Jermey on the cheek then walk off with Stefan. I smile while we're walking off. We walk upstairs to a room, and when I walk in I feel a weird feeling. "Bonnie did a spell, so we could keep Kathryn in here. No vampires can get out until she lifts it!" Damon says and I nod. "I want you to hide in the closet and wait until we tell you to come out! Then you can stake her!" Stefan says. I do as he says when I hear two voices coming our way. "It worked? I didn't think it would!" Caroline says. "What are you talking about?" I hear an all to familiar voice say. "Nice to see you again Kathryn!" Stefan says. "Stefan, Damon?  Nice to see you again!" Kathryn says. I ignore the rest of there conversation until I hear one line that makes my blood run cold. "I killed Emilin 56 years ago?" I remember back to that day.

I was walking to the store when I feel someone cover my mouth, and my arms and legs get lifted up. I look and see Kathryn Pierce herself. She walks over to me and punches me. I try to scream, but a guy slaps me. I start crying as she pulls out a stake. She drives it into my heart, and they run away. I fall down to the ground and pull the wood out of my chest. I cry and feel my life fading away. I close my eyes and let the pain go away, along with everything else.

"Kathryn, I think we have someone you would like to talk to!" Damon says. "Come on out!" Stefan says and I open the door. I walk out, and she gasps. "I-I killed you! Y-you were dead!" She says. "Your right, I was dead! Now I'm not! I'm here with my family!" I walk to her and break a table. "We have stakes!" Damon says. "Oh well!" I say then stab her in the stomach. I hear Elena gasp and ignore my terrible headache to listen in. "Jer, go tell them to stop!" Bonnie screams. I sigh and pull the stake out of her. "You better be thankful I don't want my friend hurt!" I say and spit in her face. "I know a little witch! She linked me and Elena. Everything I feel, she feels. Let's add a little pressure, or better yet, kiss me Damon. She'll feel that to!" Elena says walking over to Damon. I vamp speed to her, and push her onto the couch. "You need to stop!" I say and she chuckles. "Or what?" She says tauntingly. "I'll get the person you have been running from for over five hundred years!" I say and her eyes go wide for a second, but she changes it to a smirk. "You wouldn't get him! Your to afraid of him!" She says taunting me. "That's where your wrong! I have family to protect me! I'm not afraid of him anymore!" I say and we look at the boys. They look at us confused and I just shake my head. "The spells undone!" I lady says walking in. "Thanks!" Katerina says and walks out of the room. All of a sudden, she falls to the ground clutching her head. "You didn't tell me a Bennett witch was involved!" She yells. "Elena?!" Stefan asks. "She's fine, I released the link. I'm sorry for my involvement in this!" She says. Stefan walks away, probably to find Elena, and I am left with Kathryn. I sigh and kick her in the gut. I'm not usually one to kick someone when there down, but she deserved it. I walk outside and see Elena standing by her car. I walk up to her and she turns around. "I'm sorry for stake no Kathryn, and it hurting you!" I say and she smiles. "It's okay! I'm fine now!" I nod then I hear a sickening crack and everything goes black.
