Groaning, she picked herself up from the cold and unforgiving floor and dragged herself forward on bloody fingertips. Tingling, she felt as her healing began to kick in and reached up to, grotesquely, re-break her nose so it healed right. Shaking the blood of her hand, she continued forward- limbs shaking from exertion. Soon after, she chanced across her clothes and pulled them onto her shuddering body. It bit at her ruined fingertips and she near ruined them with blood, but after pulling them on she felt marginally better.

Again, the whole facility shook- but she paid no notice even as the lights flickered out. Spying one of the vents, she crawled over to it and tugged at the grate. It would be difficult, but she had to do it. Shuddering, she called on her shift to no avail; thy had injected her with a serum that kept her defenseless. But she could feel the niggling feeling of her claws under her skin so she pushed harder. It was five minutes later that she felt them breach her skin, so she kept at it- her face sweaty and breath stuttering. With an almost abrupt noise, they sprouted from her and she almost howled in joy. Instantly, she tore at the grate with frantic and bruised fingers before climbing inside inside.

There was only just enough room in it for her shoulders to have a finger gap on each side and she still had to crawl through cobwebs and bugs. Shuddering, she swatted at a particularly large spider before dragging her aching body forward. And, very very slowly, she made her way through the facility.

The facility was huge, a large imposing building that was heavily guarded and structured to defend. It was made of all gray walls, with no windows but a large courtyard that was in the middle of the lab. Unfortunately, there was no way to realistically enter the building undetected as there was only one entrance that also served as an exit. People were searched at the door, and if they compromised the facility they were shot on the spot- no questions asked. The only way they would be able to get in was to attack, to force their way in. But, as soon as they had encroached the building- thirty soldiers had burst from the building- all with weapons. It had taken them a while to defeat most of them, one soldiers holding an RPG and unloading canister after canister. He was swiftly disposed of, Carter's sword holding heavy in his hands.

With an almighty yell, Lily launched herself forward- hands clutched tightly around two daggers. Swiftly, the man in front of her was reduced to ribbons while two other people piled on top of her. After being thrown back, she attacked them with a ferocity Demos had not seen in years. The sound of a sword being drawn drew his attention to Carter, who ducked and parried like a pro to defeat his enemies. It made the blood pump in his body, the adrenaline course through his veins as he grabbed the large axe he had and swung it. Ghosting, he flittered through his enemies and struck them down. Lily careened through the air above him, turning to shadows as she hit the floor- her arms spinning out wildly to connect with her foes. Howard let out a roar, sprouting from the shadows to grab hold of them- pulling them into the vortex while they screamed; their bodies being pulled apart from the darkness.

Demos stopped in the carnage, spinning the axe in his hands and analyzing the battle field. These people they were fighting against were not the changed, they only appeared to be humans who had trained. An almighty roar to the side of him had him spinning on his heel, swinging his axe to chop down the furious human in his path. Eyes narrowing, he stepped forward- this was a diversion.

"Guys!" Yelling, he burst- turning to shadows.

Instantly, they too burst and followed him. They wormed their way into front garden, before being affronted by a group of people who were definitely not the same as the soldiers at the front door. In a burst of smoke, they reformed and he watched as the man's, probably the leader, eyes flickered in curiosity. A man with black hair and blank gray eyes stood ahead of the group, his mouth curled into a small smirk while a small, lithe woman stood next to him. Abreast to his left arm, a tall foreboding man stood glaring down at Demos while the other people behind him had blank expressions.
