Adriana's Pov

"Hi my name is Adriana Lima" I greeted with a smile

Opening the door wider for them

"Hi Hun my name is Linda. Your parents invited us over. We just moved in next door" Carter's mom said greeting with a small hug

Carter waved and I return the gesture

"Hi Adriana" he says "Hey Carter" I say with a real smile this time

"Linda!! nice to see you again!" mom says with a fake smile

"Hello Mary." Linda says returning a real smile

My dad then showed up putting his hand on my moms waist

My mother put her hands on my shoulder tightening her grip

Wincing a little i put a fake smile to show them I'm ok

"Well you guys look like a happy family" Linda exclaims clasping her hands

Aha if only she knew!

Carter gave a me a look I just told him my family doesn't give a damn about me but never got into details

"Oh thank you well lets it!" mom said walking to the kitchen Linda and my dad following Leaving me and carter there

"Well you look amazing" he says smiling putting his hands in pockets

"Why thank you. You don't look tht bad yourself Mr carter" I say in my mothers fake voice bowing to him

He caught on to my joke and soon started laughing with me

"M'lady shall we he says offering his arm

"We shall" I say giggling and linking our arms together we started skipping to the kitchen laughing

"Awee look at you too best friends already!" Linda says smiling at us too setting the plates in front of each seat on the table

"Mom shes the one I met at the park.." carter says smiling at me returning the smile I sat down in my usual seat

"Ohh shes the one" Linda says winking at carter which made carter blush and slouched in his chair next to me

Linda chuckled at my confused face and Carter's blushing face

Mom and dad then entered the room carrying all the food Pasta and chicken

Once they sat down we started to eat having small chit-Chats with each other

"So Adriana what school do you go to?" Linda ask taking a bite of the chicken

"Oh umm Lincoln high" i say looking down at my food

"Oh that's the same Carter's going too great I bet you guys will be great friends! she says with a smile

My parents stopped their conversation and did a small glare at me and then fake smiled

"Rile-I mean Adriana is a honer roll student!" mom says with fake enthusiasm

"Oh really maybe you should tutor carter sometime he's pretty--" Linda started "MOOOM" carter says sinking more into his seat blushing

The parents started laughing

"I'm just teasing hun" Linda replies finishing up her food

Taking a sip of water I felt someone kick me in the shin making me drop the glass into floor it shattered

"ADRIANA!" Dad yelled slamming his hands on the table

"Sorry" i whisper, quickly going under the table to pick up the glass Carter went down with me

"Oh you don't have too" i whisper to him

"It's okay I don't mind" he whispers back

We both got up and went into the other kitchen throwing away the glass
