Reason Number Three: Being a Fool

I wiped the tears off my cheek as I laid my head on Dinah shoulder. "I don't think I can ever leave this place until she wakes up. Dinah I had dreams that I woke up and she was staring down at me smiling. Do you know how I felt when I woke and saw that she haven't woken up" she sighs. "Maybe if you knew why she did it. You'll have some type of relief" she mumbles. I look up at her to see her staring down at something. I looked down to her holding the notebook. I snatched the book out her hands.

"you can't read that"

"Why?"

"Because it's very important to me"

"Ok?" She trails off "well I'm staying over so scoot over I'm sleepy" she lays on her side as I slide over.

After 10 minutes she was out. Maybe, just maybe if I read all of it and found out why she did it I could stop stressing so much.

I grabbed the book and open it.

When I texted you Lauren it was probably one of my best things I ever did. You made me feel so right. No one could ever make me feel the way you made me feel. 

But around that time I was extremely confused. I had found out that someone that I really liked basically betrayed me was in a relationship with someone else.

But what was I supposed to do when she showed up in front of my house at 11am with a pizza and roses. She looked so cute and she wanted to say sorry.  I invited her in.

Jesus, I was so stupid.

"Y/n can you get the door?" My Dad yells. I walked out the kitchen and went to the door and opened it to see Maia. She was holding a box of pizza and roses in her hands. "Is it too late now to say sorry?" She asked "yes"

I went to close the door but she stopped it with her foot. "Y/n wait"

"What?"

"I know what I did was fucked up. I should've told you about my relationship with Victoria but at the time we were on a small break" she steps closer to me. "Y/n I'm so so so so so so sorry about everything I want you to forgive me please"

I looked down. "Y/n please"

"Fine" she smiles. I let her in. "Don't be too loud my dads are sleep" she nods. I led her to my room.

"So this is how your room looks?. It looks really comfy" she places the pizza on the bed and sits down. I sat down next to her and opened the box of pizza and grabbing a slice.

"Out all toppings you pick cheese?" She chuckles grabbing a slice. "I didn't know know what kind of pizza you liked so I got a basic" I smiled at her "it's ok. You're lucky I like cheese" she smiles biting into her pizza.

"I lied to my mom. She doesn't know I'm here. I told her that I was going over to Jenna's"

"Who's Jenna?"

"My cousin" I nod.

"Wanna know a song that relates to us?" She asks "what?"

"Say you won't let go" I raised an eyebrow "really?"

"Yeah if you think about it, it could really be telling our story" I chuckled.

"I met you in the dark. You lit me up, you made feel as though I was enough" she sings a huge smiles spreads on my face. "Oh my god"

"We danced have night away, we drank to much. I'll held your back when you were throwing up"

"Ok first of all Maia none of that happened. Stop being cute" I pushed her shoulder. Making her laugh. "I don't think I can stop being so cute" she smirks I placed my pizza down.

She clears her throat. "Then you smiled over your shoulder. For a minute I was stone cold sober. I pulled you closer to my chest" I bite my lip, "then you asked me to stay over. I said I already told ya, I think that you should get some rest" she smiles moving the pizza box out of the way and pulling me closer to her.

"I knew I loved you then, but you never known. Because I played it cool when I was scared of letting go" she grabs a rose and slides it behind my ear. "I knew I needed you but I never shown. But I want to stay with you until we're grey and old" she leans in and I do closing my eyes. "Just say you won't let go"

"Stop singing and kiss me already" I heard her chuckle. Her lips met mine. It felt like fireworks had exploded in my belly. Her kisses always made feel so great. Something about her lips drew me in.

She laid me on my back crawling on top of me. Her lips landing on my my neck. "That tickles" I snort. Making her chuckle pulling away. She holds her self up hovering over top of me.

"You're so fucking beautiful" I smiled "I'm so lucky to kiss you" without looking I placed my hand on the lamp as her lips met mines again. I cut off lamp leaving us in the dark.

That's was a night that I wouldn't forget especially since the day after things took a really long turn. The next I got a text from Haley-

I huffed. I shouldn't be jealous over something that happened months ago. But I just can't help knowing that she's probably in love with another girl that's not me. I love y/n so much.

I want her to know that. I want to tell her, but she's in a fucking Coma and no matter how many times I say it out loud she will never hear me.

Tears fell from my eyes. What if she don't wake up? She will never get a chance to meet me. If she don't make it, how will I move on?.

I wish I could've stopped her. I wish I would've been there through the times she needed me the most.

This is all my fault.

God I'm so fucking stupid......
