I bite down in the apple as Dinah typed on her phone. "You are ok right?" She asks I nod "just peachy" I stared down at the table. "I heard you crying last night. Lauren if you need to talk I'm here" I stood up and walked back to y/n room. When I got there I saw girl in there. She clearly didn't work here due to her wearing random clothes. I went to speak but stayed quiet.

"I don't know why I feel like this is my fault. I should've been there for you. I knew how much pain you were in but yet I stayed quiet and add more pain. I'm so sorry y/n. I need you to wake baby I do, I really do need you right now. I know it's only been two weeks but that has been the longest two weeks of my life" she sobs "I miss you. And I love you I can't live without you"

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked to see Dinah. "Who's that?"

"I think that's Maia"

"Wake up please" she sobs running her fingers through her hair. "Please oh my god please wake up. I can't do this anymore" I walked fully in the room. And placed a hand on her shoulder. She looks up at me. "Lauren? What are you doing here?"

"How do you know my name" she sniffs moving her hair out her face "you're Lauren Jauregui from fifth harmony every one knows you"

"Right" she stands up "I'm a friend of y/n's"

"She never told me about you" I frown. She clears her throat. "I'm Maia her girlfriend" I cringed at the word girlfriend. "Ok"

"Uh I have to go...but if she wakes up and I'm not here. Give this to her. It's an early birthday present" she hands a rectangular box. She smiles before going back over to y/n and kissing her forehead. "I'll be back baby" she walks out the room. I open the box to see a charm bracelet. I rolled my eyes throwing it in the trash.

"Lauren what the hell. That's y/n's birthday gift" I shrug "she makes me mad"

"Because you're jealous"

"I'm not jealous.... I just don't understand how she's y/name girlfriend!"

"If she's y/n girlfriend then where were she when she first gotten into the hospital?. I've been here for 2 weeks Dinah. I came all the way here from Japan just to see her. I haven't left since! This is my first time ever meeting Maia. And this is Maia first time ever coming here to see her 'girlfriend' Jesus" I huffed.

I ran my fingers through my hair. "It's like she doesn't even care"

"Lauren did you not just see that girl on her knees crying. She cares for y/n just as much as you do" I roll my eyes "you don't even know their story"

"And you don't either!"

"You right I don't, but I'm finding out everything as days go by"

"What?"

"Before y/n committed- well tried to commit suicide she wrote in this book" I grab the notebook "I'm not supposed to tell anyone about this so promise me you won't say anything about it" she nods "ok"

"In this book she wrote down all the reasons that caused her to do what she did. And Maia is one of the names that has been brought up so many times in this book. Whatever she did had to trigger y/n along with the others"

She grabs the book out her hand. "Aren't you going to finish it?" I licked my lips "I kinda got a bit pissed last night about what I read."

"Was it about Maia?"

"She gave that girl her virginity"

"Oh"

She hands me the book "finish it I need to call my mom" she steps out the room. I sat down on my bed. And flipped through pages.

That night was the best night of my life. But the day after turned my life upside down. It was a Wednesday and I was standing outside waiting for Haley and Kristen.

I was nervous really nervous because last night I got a text from Haley.

I've been rereading that text all that morning.

I saw the Haley car pull up. My heart started to beat rapidly. Kristen got out the car and ran over to me. "What the fuck were you thinking?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"What?"

Before she could answer Haley were already marching over to us. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD PULL SUCH A BITCH MOVE!" The blonde yells. "Excuse me?"

"DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH ME Y/N I SAW THE PICTURE" my eyes widen "YOU KNOW THE PICTURE OF YOU AND MY FUCKING BOYFRIEND KISSING"

A crowd gather around. I saw Jacob in the crowd. He had disbelief written on his face. "You got it all wrong Haley he kissed me!"

"But you didn't pull away"

"I did-"

"NOT TO MENTION SHE ALSO KISSED MAIA THAT SAME NIGHT" some one yells. "Wow you are such a fucking slut!"

"I should've known you liked him... you couldn't keep your eyes off of him."

"Haley I didn't kiss back"

"Shut up" she slaps me "I trusted you!" I felt tears building up in my eyes. I clench my jaw. "As my friend you're supposed to believe me!" I pushed her back "DON'T YOU EVER PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME AGAIN" I pushed her twice as harder making her fall.

I walked away. I heard multiple people calling me a bitch or a slut. I grab my bag and walked to my car and getting in. I heard my door open. I looked to see Maia.

"You ok?" I shook my head "no" tears fell from my eye "no I'm not. I'm not good at all" she pulls me into a hug. "Everything going to be ok y/n. I promise" I nod "let me drive you...you shouldn't drive while upset" I crawled in the passenger seat as she got into the driver seat.

Till this day it still hurts to know that my own friends turned against me.
