You: hellooooo Lauren why aren't you answering my texts?

I sighed staring down at the multiple texts I sent her. Lauren text me 10 minutes ago, and haven't replied. I just been on deliver.

"Uh y/n I hate to be that guy but...if we don't hurry and find Hayley all hell is going break lose"

I huffed shoving my phone in my pocket. "Lauren just text me" I followed behind Jeremy. "Who?"

"Lauren! She texts me with 'we need to talk about us!'"

"Once again who is Lauren"

"Then she doesn't reply to none of my text. You can't just text someone that and not reply!"

"Y/n we don't have time for this let's go!" He grabs my hand pulling me through the crowded hallway. "There she goes" I watched as Hayley walked into the girl's locker room. "You have to go in there" I groan. "If I Don't come back out tell my dads that I love them" he rolls his eyes pushing me forward. I walked in the room ignoring the half-naked girls.

Once I found Hayley I walked to her. She pulled her shirt overhead. And jumped once she noticed me. "God you scared m- what are you doing in here? shouldn't you be kissing on Maia or something?" She asked.

"You can't tell anyone about my relationship with Maia" she pulls her hair into a ponytail. "Listen y/n once again I don't care what you and Maia think. I think the whole school should know about you" she smirks.

"If you tell anyone about us I'll expose your secret" she laughs crossing her arms over her chest. "Secret? Oh please. You don't know anything about me"

"I know that you have Aids. Which means I have something to both you and Jacob" her eyes widen. She looks around the room before glaring at me. "Who told you that!"

"It doesn't matter. If you tell anyone about me and Maia relationship. You'll be the laughing stock next week" I walked away from her. Walking out the locker room.

I ran over to Jeremy "ok let's go"

I ran my fingers through my hair and followed him back into the gym. We quickly grabbed everything and walked out so we wouldn't be in the way.

"I'll see you after school," I say he nods before walking away.

The day finally ended Lauren never texted me back nor answer any of my calls so I officially gave up on that. I was now looking through everyone's votes. Majority of the school did vote for Hayley. But I spent all night making fake votes for Melissa.

I dumped all her votes in the box and threw the original ones in the trash. I took the box and brought it to the office. The last took it, she was going to read the results this morning so everyone would know.

I walked out the office. Maia was leaning against my locker. "Hey," I say she smiles pulling me into the bathroom. "Hey" she pushes me against the wall and presses her lips to mine. "I missed you," she says

"It's only been a day"

"I know but I kind of ditched you yesterday. I got upset"

"You ditched me?"

"Yeah? You didn't notice?"

"I ran off with Jeremy we had to handle some business." I cleared my throat "what business"

"Don't worry about that just know that the school won't know anything about us ok?" She furrows her eyebrows but nodded. My phone starts ringing I look to see that it's Lauren.

"Who's Lauren?" I quickly declined it. "No one important let's get to class," I said pecking her lips. We walked into class as soon as the bell rang. Sitting down the teacher started the lecture.

Lauren: I'm sorry I didn't text back. I got busy

Lauren: I would tell you over text but I believe it would be nice if we talk face to face. I was hoping to see you last month but you didn't come to the concert everything alright?

You: something happened and I couldn't come sorry but I can't talk right now I'm in class

Lauren: I'm going to be in town this weekend maybe we can catch up?

You: I'm going to be with my girlfriend this weekend

Lauren: girlfriend?

You: yeah

Lauren: well I'd still like to see you just call me when you get the time

I placed my phone down "Lauren doesn't seem like someone important" I heard Maia say. "She's just a friend, but no one important"

"Y/n you don't have to lie to me. Who is she?"

"A friend. She only texts me when she needs anything" she chuckles. "Ok"

Class started. I couldn't help but think about Lauren. What did she need to say to me? What is so important that she has to come down here.

The Prom was this weekend. I'm seeing Maia Saturday night so I'll have to time to meet up with Lauren.

Once I noticed that Maia was to engaged in writing whatever was on the board I quickly grabbed my phone.

You: meet me at the park on park wood street at 6:30 Saturday

Lauren: got you ☺️

Maia glanced at me as I shoved my phone in my pocket. "You're not going to copy the notes"

"Oh yeah" I grabbed my notebook and my pen.....
