Chapter 8

(KAYLA POV)

I felt sparks fly when our lips connected. He pulled away too soon though. Noah then looked at me with scared eyes

"I'm-I'm sorry. Y-you should probably go" he muttered

"Oh. O-ok" I stuttered as I fumbled into my car and pulled away. Noah just stood outside his door staring at me as I drove off. I didn't know he likes me that much; or should I say liked. He probably doesn't feel the same way. He probably didn't feel the same sparks that I felt. That's why he told me I should go. I'm not good enough for him. I'm not good enough for any one.I dialed Jordan's number and put it on speaker as I started driving home. She picked up as tears were starting to fall.

(CONVERSATION)

J-Hello?

K- Hey its Kayla

J- Oh hi. What's up?

K- Can I come over? Please

J- Yeah. Are you ok?

K- No

J- Come right over. I just have a few friends over. Is that ok?

K- It's fine. What's your address?

J- (insert it here)

K- ok I'm on my way

J- ok

(CONVERSATION END)

I drove to Jordan's house with a few tears blocking my vision. When I pulled in I saw Jordan and three other girls run out. I jumped out my car and gave Jordan a big hug. She returned the hug gratefully. She then let go and took a step back.

"Who are they?" I sniffed

"This is Jordan or Jordi for short" she motioned towards a short curvy girl with black spotted hazel eyes and long straight brown hair that had beige tips and streaks that stood out. Jordi was wearing a black high waisted skirt with a light blue singlet and a batman beanie with some combat boots.

"This is Dakari" she said again while motioning towards a girl with hazel eyes and long brown hair that was straightened with some gold and red in it, except her hair was kinda shaved on one side. Dakari wore a pair of black sweats a yellow pikachu shirt.

"And this is Ambie" she motioned again to the last girl with blue eyes and light brown hair. Ambie wore a breaking bad t-shirt and a pair of white high waisted shorts with black combat boots. Every girl was shorter than my Jordan, except Ambie was the tallest of the three by being only about 5'6". Each girl seemed really nice with their own styles even though they were all really different. Being different though didn't matter to me.

"Can we go inside?" I asked since we were still standing outside of Jordan's condo.

"Sure" they all replied. We all started walking into Jordan's condo.

"Shoes off" Jordan said as she rushed to her kitchen to get some sodas, while the girls slipped off their shoes and sat down on the couch.

"Can one of you braid my hair" I asked while stopping my sniffing.

"Sure" Dakari said while patting the spot of the couch in front of her. I walked over and sat down in front of her while pulling out my ponytail.

"Can I help?" Ambie and Jordi asked.

"Yeah. Here will do a headband braid" Dakari said while parting some of my hair. Jordan then came back in with her hands full of Mountain Dew. She then handed one out to everybody, then stood to the right of Ambie and started playing with her hair.
