Chapter 20

(KAYLA POV)

"Thank you" everyone chorused to Jordi who was standing there smiling.
"Hey guys. Not to interrupt your love feat but, do any of you know how I got a beer can sword glued to my hand?" Mitch asked while staring at the beer can sword that was stuck in his hand. Everyone chuckled at how Mitch had the sword glued to him.
"Mitch. You glued that to yourself man." Mat laughed
"Oh. Yahhh, I did this, then I..... appointed Kayla older. Then I.... Never mind" Mitch cut off sharply. What was he talking about? Let me think, I was pushed up to the counter...... I was then made older by Mitch's sword. Then he.......he, HE KISSED ME. OH SHIT. Now I know what he freaked out about. Well it wasn't really that bad, he was pretty drunk last night. And so was everyone else who kissed me afterward, including Noah.
"Hey Kayla" Jordan spoke
"Yeah?" I asked
"The girls and I all got you something" she stated while holding out a small box. All the girls then lined up on front of me and all of them got down onto one knee like idiots.
"What's this?" I laughed. I opened the box and there was a silver chain bracelet with a whole bunch of different charms on them.
"Will you marry us?" All the girls asked. After they said this I couldn't hold back my laughter. I just stood there laughing and nodding my head to their question. They all joined in on the laughter and gave me a group hug.
"Oh. But the way Kayla. I got you the speakers and I bet they are here somewhere" Noah stated while looking for the speakers. I walked over to Jim and gave him a hug while whispering a meaningful thank you to him. He just nodded and smiled saying it was no big deal.
"So. What are you guys doing today?" I asked to everyone. They all either said, recording videos, nothing, or try to convince their parents that they weren't at this awesome party we had last night.
"Mitch, Mat. You guys are wrong. You guys are going to help clean up. Because YOU were the ones to bring the alcohol" I scolded. They both laughed.
"And Mitch. Come here" I said
"What are you gonna do?" He asked a little scared
"I'm gonna get that sword off of you" i stated while pointing to his hand.
"Oh. Ok" he said while walking up to me with his hand stretched out. I took his wrist in one hand and the sword in the other. I then pulled them apart and boy was it tough. He hand was really red as he clenched his hand open and shut. He then smiled and started cleaning up with Mat while everyone else dispersed back to their homes. All that was left was Mitch, Mat, Caleb, me and half of the mess that was left. We all cleaned up, threw trash away, swept the floors, washed every table, and picked up the trash in the yard. After about an hour of deep cleaning, if finally looked good.
"You guys are free to go" I said while laying down on my couch. Mat and Mitch nodded and started to leave.
"Hey Kayla" Caleb spoke standing behind the couch
"Yeah" I said looking up to him
"There was something I forgot to do last night" he stated
"What was that?" I asked while standing up
"Two things. One, your present" he said while holding out the shirt and handing it to me.
"Thank you so much" I said gratefully
"And two......this" he said as he leaned in and held my chin. He then kissed me on the lips as he closed his eyes. I kept my eyes open. I didn't know what to do.
"I never got to kiss the birthday girl yesterday" he stated simply
