Chapter 30

(KAYLA POV)

After Jordan and I got tanned we decided to go back home. I went home and started cleaning up a little bit around the condo. Caleb came home later and said that for his birthday in a few days he would just want to go to a few clubs with his buddies. I was ok with it, guys need guy time. But other than going to work, exercising, and hanging out with Noah, the summer went pretty slow. I was almost kinda happy that there was only ten days before school. Almost.

I was sitting on Noah's floor of his new computer room just listening to him talk to some friends when their conversation died down a little.

"Hey guys?" I asked

"What?" A few of the guys Noah was talking to replied. I stood up and put my arms crossed on Noah's head.

"We should do something for the end of summer"

"Like what?" Rob asked

"I don't know, just go somewhere fun"

"Yeah that'd be cool" Noah said

"I have an idea" I said as so etching popped into my mind

"What is it?" Mitch asked

"Here, everyone go onto Facebook and look up Sarah Fischer and go to cabin pictures" I told. Noah started doing what I said and sure enough the pictures were still there.

"How about we go here?" I asked

"Isn't this someone's personal cabin?" Mat asked

"Yeah. It's my parents. And since I'm related to them, we could go here. I know they won't be up there and it's only about a 4 hour drive. It be like a road trip" I explained

"Wouldn't we have to prerecord a ton of videos?" Mitch asked

"Uhhh no. Look at picture 6" I instructed. Picture six was of my brother's game room. It was a normal sized bedroom that was turned into Heaven. There was a black modern wrap around desk on three of the walls with computer after computer on it. There was also about six chairs in the middle of the wooden floor.

"Damn. Why do they have all this?" Mat asked.

"Well, my parents were kinda rich and liked to spoil my brother. He would bring friends up and they would all play. It has good internet. I think about 200 down, 50 up. Is that good?" I explained trying to get them to want to go.

"Yeah that's great" Mitch replied

"Sooo. Maybe we could go there. Vacation a little, you guys would still be able to record. Can we arrange it? It would be a Power Move." I begged while smiling at the end

"We could go tomorrow. Have everyone who's going pack their bags. But Kayla shouldn't you call off of work?" Rob asked. Shit I forgot about that.

"Ummm I think I can get a few people to cover for me. Give me a few minutes" I say while while walking into the hall way. I called five of my friendliest co-workers who had off on certain days. I called Connie for Monday. Taylor for Tuesday. Sally for Wednesday. Roger for Thursday. And Wendy for Friday. I asked them all if they could take my shift for a day. They all agreed thankfully but said I'd have to pay them back by taking one of their shifts later. I took the deal without hesitation. I then ran back into the room.

"Guys I'm good!" I yelled while jumping up and down. I then went back to my preferred position of leaning on Noah's head and rubbed his hair.

"Hey" he said while trying to fix his hair. I laughed

"Sweet. While you were making your calls we made some of ours. My lady Dakari, Rob's lady friend Breanne, and Noah's bud Justin and his lady friend Clove can all go. Jerome can't go cause he said he's spending time with his new girlfriend Louise. Palmer said he's back home with Amber and finishing working things out with her, so he's a no-show. Lachlan said he's in town but spending time with his lady friend Jordi so he said they might come over later but otherwise I think that's it" Mat explained

"Ok cool. I'm inviting my friend Jordan right now" I said while texting Jordan

"And just so you all know. I've been looking through the other pics of this place and it seems like a lot of fun. There's pictures of what they say is their beach and in the picture it's a small beach but what I'm excited about is how what looks like your dad is on a speed boat. And if it's there I call driving" Mitch told us

"Ok fine. But guys Jordan says she can come. So in total it's going to be Noah, me, Mat, Rob, Mitch, Dakari, Breanne, Justin, Clove, Jordan, and maybe Lachlan and Jordi. Right?" I asked. They all said yes and that they would start packing up and had to go. They all left the call and I looked down at Noah who was still letting me have my arms on his head.

"We should probably go pack" I said

"Yeah" he replied

"Well I'm gonna go. Bye" I say while kissing his forehead

"Bye" Noah says while following me out of his computer room. I then went downstairs while Noah went to his room to pack. I went home and started packing a bunch of clothes and stuff. I had many days worth of clothes and swimsuits. Bikinis in particular. Since I've been exercising a lot more, I actually really love the way I look in one. I also packed a little bit of makeup and my laptop and chargers. I then texted everyone that they should meet at my place for me to lead them to the cabin around 7am. They all said ok. I looked over at my luggage case that had stuff overflowing out of it. I went to it and started folding the shorts, shirts, bras, etc. I then laid everything in again and place my laptop on top and closed the bag. I then went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and hair while leaving the brushes on the counter to pack up tomorrow. I then went to bed excited for tomorrow.
