Chapter 35

(Kayla POV)

I whispered to the girls to act dumb and pretty. We then got the guys attention and put on our best act.

"Hey, guyss. We were wondering if you guys could help us with one tiny thing" I started

"Yeah. We brought our boat here to go on the water here, but we didn't bring a truck" Jordan continued in a girly voice

"So we wondering if you could help us put our boat in the water with your strong truck" Dakari said while running her hand though her hair

"Please" Breanne begged

"It would mean a bunch to us" Clove ended. The guys looked to each other. We had to make one last impression.

"Please" I said while knowingly winking an eye at them to make it look good. The other girls said please also and made other positions to attract the guys. Some were putting on begging eyes or pleading smiles. Let me just say, we out begged a puppy. The guys made one last look to each other before the all ran out of their boat and towards our boat that was still hitched to our car. They quickly unhitched it and brought it to their truck. They then backed it up into the water and finished getting our boat into the water. The guys tried impressing us by standing on our boat like they conquered the world. I tried not to laugh as they tried to make us impressed. They then came up to us acting all tough as they towered over us.

"So what are you doing later tonight?" One of the guys asked me. Another guy was hitting on Breanne. I gave the girls a quick look before I turned back to the guy.

"Well, I'm hanging out with my boyfriend later today and you're welcomed to ask him if you want to come along" I said with a smirk as I gestured to Noah. Noah looked furious that this guy was hitting on me. The college guy walked away with his buds back to their boat. I could hear a few of them mentioning names under their breath. I ignored them as did the other girls. I walked back to Noah and sat on the bench right next to him. He put his arm around my shoulders possessively.

"Someone a little jealous?" I asked innocently

"All of us were. Do you know how hard it is to just sit and watch as your girlfriend goes and looks like she's hitting on another guy?" He asked seriously. I cuddled under his arm to make him feel better.

"I'm sorry. I won't do it again" I promised. Noah hugged me and smiled a little.

"Do you wanna go swimming?" Noah asked changing the subject

"How about we build a sandcastle?" I asked not wanting to get wet.

"No let's go swimming" Noah said while throwing me over his shoulder. I screamed and pounded on his back.

"Ouch. Stop that" he said. I stopped and crossed my arms knowing that I'm going in the water. A lot of the others laughed from the benches. Noah walked in about ten feet and in could feel my toes touching the water.

"Ready to get wet?" He asked while giggling

"Nooo" I whined. He laughed.

"Too bad" he said while lightly throwing me into the water. It was cold for a second as I fixed my hair under water. As I stood up Noah was running at me. He threw his arms around me and pulled us both under water. The water was about up to my shoulders as I gained my footing in the wet sand. Noah stood above me a few inches as I looked into his happy brown eyes. I pecked him on the lips. After the small kiss I smiled as he put on a pouty face.

"What's wrong?" I said in a baby voice. He just puckered up his lips. I got the message and leaned into his lips. As our lips met he leaned back and pulled us both under water. I didn't pull away but kept my lips on his. Under water it felt like we were alone in our own little world. Too bad we both have to breathe.

After the amazing kiss we both surfaced from the water. He had his arms around my waist and I had mine around his neck.

"We should probably go back to the others" I said while leaning my forehead against his and breaking the silence. He agreed and let go of me. When he started heading back into shore he kept splashing me. I splashed him back and we had a full out war. We got back onto dry sand and helped the others who were finishing up on the boat setup. They agreed to go tubing first and had the people on the tube wear life vests. The first people to go on the tube were Jordan and Dakari. They got their life vests on and climbed aboard on the yellow and red tube. Mitch, Mat, and Rob went on the boat. Justin, Noah, Breanne, Clove, and I stayed on the beach.

I was tanning on the beach sometimes looking at the half of our group on the water. If was only anoint ten minutes after they went out before I heard Noah get up and walk somewhere with Justin. I watched as they went for a little bit before my attention turned back the the guys tubing. Rob and Mat were on the tube now going super fast.

"Hey Kayla" Breanne asked me. I turned on my belly so I could turn my head to her.

"Yeah?" I asked back

"You and Noah look cute together" she stated

"Thanks" I replied kinda feeling the blush come to my cheeks

"I know it's kind of a stupid question but what are your feeling on your relationship with him?" She asked trying to be nonchalant.

"I know it's kind of a stupid answer but I love him. I can just about see us getting.." I stopped short seeing Noah return. Breanne looked at me a little happy like. She mouthed the word 'married' and I nodded acknowledging that that was what I was gonna say. She smiled and turned back to Clove to pass the message on. Noah sat back down on the bench behind me and I looked up to see him. I smiled as I looked into his eyes. He smiled back.

"Do you wanna go on the tube when the guys get back?" I asked

"YESS" he said excited

"I wanna go too" Clove said also

"I'm coming with" Justin added

"I'll just stay on the beach" Breanne stated

"Nope you're coming with too" I stated while sitting up.

"Fineee" Breanne stated knowing that I wouldn't let her stay on the beach. All we had to do now was wait for the guys to come back in.
