Chapter 23

(KAYLA POV)

He pulled me up off my bed and led me back downstairs. We both got our shoes on and I left a note for Caleb on the counter. Noah then drove us to the bowling alley with his car. We arrived to the bowling alley, parked the car, and started walking in to the guys getting their bowling shoes on. There was Palmer, a very happy Amber, Justin, and a smiling Breanne.

"Hi guys" I say while walking in with Noah.

"Hey Kayla. Hey Noah" they all echoed.

"Were gonna go get shoes" Noah said while pulling me to the shoe counter. We both paid for our shoes and walked back to others who just started bowling. Noah and I got our shoes on and grabbed our balls and joined the others' game. We then played about half a game when we order pepperoni pizzas. After the first game with the guys beating the girls by only a lot. We played another two games and finally decided that that was enough. We finished off the pizzas, put away our shoes and balls, and said our goodbyes. It was dark as Noah drove me home. Noah got out and gave me a hug before leaving to go to his house. Time passed like this for some of the summer. Going out with friends every weekend and for me working very weekday. Sooner then later, July 18th rolled along and I knew Noah's birthday was tomorrow. I just got home from work and decided to call him.

"Hello?" He answered

"Hey Noah" I replied

"Yes?" He asked

"Sooooo. Tomorrow is a special day.... And what do you want for your birthday?" I asked quickly.

"Well...Mitch said he would take care of the party, so that's taken care of. But I'm not sure of what I want." He explained

"Come on. What would you like?" I asked again

"Ughh. How about...... being able to tell people your my girlfriend?" He asked

"Uhhh" I stalled

"That's all I want. Please" he begged. I couldn't resist

"Ok. But tomorrow well do it. That ok?" I suggested

"YES. thank you. Thank you. Thank you" he replied excitedly.

"Your welcome" I said smiling. We talked for a while about just what's happening in life and other stuff. Time passed and we finally hung up and went to bed. I can't wait for tomorrow. It's gonna be awesome.
