I decided I wasn't going to The Grove I just wanted to stay at home and do nothing. Jake said he wasn't gonna go either so he just went down stairs to watch TV.  I got into my bed and pulled the covers up to my chin.  I took my phone out of my pocket and started scrolling through instagram.
I guess I was tired because I fell asleep mid scroll, and was only awoken by my phone buzzing in my hand. It was still on so I guess I hadn't been asleep for long. It was a dm.
I thought it was just a fan because I'd been getting lots of those recently, but I opened it anyway.
It wasn't a fan. It was from an account I had never seen before but I saw it was followed by Charlie and his older brother. I read the text.
'Still not got it yet. Thought you were smarter then that.'
I slammed my phone down onto my bedside cabinet and pulled the covers over my head. 
I heard footsteps into my room and them I felt the bed creak as some one stage down on it. 
'You ok Everest' I heard the voice say. It was Alex. ' Jake told me you were kinda upset and he told me everything that happened'
I didn't move.
'Come on Everest talk to me' He said trying to prise my blanket out of my hand.
I pulled it down so I could see him.
He smiled at me.
'Look let's watch a film' he said turning my TV on. ' What do you wanna watch'
I sat up. Alex was flicking  through Netflix.
'How about this one' Alex said clicking on Beauty and the Beast 'You like it don't you'
'Yeah' I said trying to sound like I didn't care much. In actual fact I loved it. It was one of my favourite films.
'Come on' he said sitting down next to me. 'Why aren't you talking to me?'
I shook my head.
'I am talking to you' I said.
Alex put on the film. Five minutes in and I realised that Alex didn't deserve what I was doing. I squashed up next to him and rested my head on his chest.
'Sorry' I whispered in his ear. He turned his head and lightly kissed my lips. For most of the film I was led against Alex. But I don't think either of us saw the end of the film, because we both fell asleep. 
I hadn't told Alex about the dm yet but I promised myself I would.
