Jake's POV

As soon as I heard Everest's scream, I dropped the phone.
'What Jake what happened was that Everest?!' Kade said quickly, we were walking along the sidewalk out on a walk trying to clear our minds.
'She... she was caught.. with if they hurt her' I mumbled staring at my now cracked phone.
'Wait hold up a sec tell me what happened!' Kade said holding both my shoulders so I was looking him straight on the face.
'She'd snuck out to call me but someone caught her and then she was screaming' I cried out.
Anger welled from the pit of my stomach. I ran over to the wall and kicked it so bad my toe hurt.
'EVEREST WHERE ARE YOU' I SHOUTED. 
Kade ran over to me 'calm down Jake I've never seen you this upset but I promise well find her.' He said sympathetically.
'You can't promise that' I said ' how would you feel if Nathan went missing'
His face dropped.

No one could promise Everest could ever be safe again.
