"So are we going to pick up Darren to?" Ask Jase as they passed the sign that said Louisiana up a head. "No he's going to follow us back he wanted to drive." Said Dejuan. "Okay so we picking him then." Said Jase as he pulled up to a light looking at him. "Uh yea I guess we are." Said Dejuan as he took a sip of his soda. "Well then a simple yeah would have did it." Said Jase as he pulls off. "Whatever smartass." Said Dejuan. "Anyway we'll get Imari, your brother, then the pups." Said Jase as they came to a another light. "Sounds good to me." Said Dejuan as he texted on his phone. A few minutes later Dejuan was still texting on his phone. "Who you texting?" Ask Jase. "My brother." Said Dejuan "Pfft yeah oh okay." Said Jase as he was turning a corner. "Hey believe what you want." Said Dejuan sending off another text. "I am and I believe you was texting Janeka." Said Dejuan in a matter of fact tone. "Ehh hey its whatever you think." Said Dejuan as he put his phone away. "Twenty hour drive on the rode with you is to long." Said Jase as he rubs his head. "Just keep both hands on the wheel." Said Dejuan. "Hey I'm about to play open your eyes and look north." Said Dejuan as he plugs his phone in. "Yeah turn it up." Said Jase. "Hey is your dad going to be there?" Ask dejuan as he turn the music down because the song was going off. "Um I'm not sure I think it might just be Imari and his nanny or my mother if she's off from work, but I'm not sure about my father." Said Jase. "Oh okay." Said Dejuan. "Why do you ask?" Ask Jase. Dejuan looks at Jase. "Come on man you know why." Said Dejuan. "What I really wanna know." Said Jase. "Okay your father doesn't like me." Said Dejuan. "That's not true." Said Jase as they came to another light. "Yes it is. He don't like my parents which I'll give him that most people don't. My parents are a little out there. Still he don't like the girls I don't because they aren't white. He don't like me because I smoke which is only sometimes but still. He judges me before he gets to know me just because who my parents are yeah they hippies but so what." Said Dejuan as he scrolls through his phone for another song. "I think your exaggerating just a bit." Said Jase. "Yeah okay." Said Dejuan as he turns up the music. Thirty minutes later they arrive at Jase's parents house. They pull up the long driveway and Jase turns off the car. "You staying or coming in?" Ask Jase. "Yeah I'll come in." Said Dejuan as they got out the car. They walk up the driveway and onto the porch and walk up to the door. Jase pulls out his keys and unlocks the door and they walk in. "Hey anyone home!" Called out Jase. "Don't be shouted in my house." Said Base's mom. "Sorry mother didn't know you was home." Said Jase as he walks up to her and give her a hug and kiss. "Hey Mrs Kiyana how have you been?" Said Dejuan he walks up to her. "Oh my Dejuan I haven't seen you in years. Kak tBon dela." Said Kiyana as she gave him a big hug. "I been good." Said Dejuan with a laugh. They walked into the kitchen Jase roll his eyes as he got upstairs to get Imari. Jase walks down the long hallway and around the corner until he came to Imari's room. Imari was in his room sitting on his beanie playing Mario karts on his Wii. "Hey bud you ready to go." Said Jase. Imari pause his game and looks at Jase and his face lights up. "Jase!!" Said Imari as he runs to Jase. "Hey bud how you been." Said Jase as he catch him. "I've been good. I'm almost ready can I just finish this game?" Said Imari. "Yeah can I join in bud?" Ask Jase as he put Imari down. "Yeah come on." Said Imari as they play the game. "So Dejuan anything new any girlsfriends huh?" Ask Kiyana as she wiggle her eyebrows. Dejuan start laughing. "No nothing is new I mean I own my own mechanic shop. And uh yea I do have a girlfriend." Said Dejuan. "Oh lala tell me more about this girlfriend and the shop." Said Kiyana with a smirk. Dejuan laughs. "Um okay I own the shop for three years now. Nothing special about its my baby its called Miller's Mechanic Shop." Said Dejuan. "Oh okay well congrats on the shop, now tell me about this girl of yours." Said Kiyana. "Well not much to tell there either we haven't even been dating for a month yet. But she funny, cute, smart, and a smart mouth, but that's what I like the most." Said Dejuan with a smile. "Oh sounds like a keeper." Said Kiyana nudging Dejuan with a smirk. He started laughing. "I hope so." Said Dejuan with a chuckle. "So is she good in the bedroom?" Ask Kiyana. Dejuan choke on the air. "What! Never mind don't say it again, and I'm not telling you that." Said Dejuan. "Oh poop your no fun." Said Kiyana with a pout. Dejuan just shakes his head and laugh. Just then Jase and Imari walks in. "What y'all laughing about?" Ask Jase. "Nothing really. Wow Imari you gotten big!" Said Dejuan. "Thanks." Said Imari. "Do you remember Dejuan?" Ask Kiyana. Imari shook his head no and they started laughing. "Yeah you was a baby." Said Jase. "Okay mother we going to get going we gotta get his brother and go get these pups." Said Jase. "Okay well give me a hug." Said Kiyana as she walks around the island. She gives Jase, Dejuan, and Imari a hug and a kiss on a cheek. "You have a good time with your brother and call me too okay love you." Said Kiyana. "Okay I will and love you too ma." Said Imari as he kiss her on the cheek. They started to walk out the door. "Tell father sorry I missed him." Said Jase as they was walking out. "I will you also missed Tya she was here for a week." Said Kiyana as she stood by the door. "Wow." Said Dejuan as he got in the car. "Oh yeah how did that go?" Ask Jase as he help Imari into his truck. "It went good your father and sister got along just fine." Said Kiyana with a smile. "That's great." Said Jase. "Yeah I know. Okay I'll let y'all go love y'all." Said Kiyana as they pulled out. "Love you too." They said as they drove off. "They argue when ma wasn't around." Said Imari as he pulls out his DS and start playing. "I figure." Said Jase as they drove down the street. Twenty minutes later they arrive at Dejuan's parents house. "Okay y'all stay here I'mma go get Darren." Said Dejuan. Jase looks at him with a smirk. "Afraid they going to be doing something embarrassing?" Ask Jase with a smirk. "I know they're going to be doing something embarrassing so I'm saving your brother from being scarred for life." Said Dejuan as he got out the car. Jase bust out laughing as Dejuan walks up the steps to the porch. He walks up to the door and unlocks the door and steps in. "Oh gosh guys put some clothes on." Said Dejuan as he shield his eyes.
