TWO MONTHS LATER
NAOMI POV:

I was in the nursing station putting patients information in the system when Lilly walks in.

"Hey you still here?" Ask Lilly. "Yeah but I'm finishing up, why you still?" I ask. "Finishing the last of my charts. You graduate in two days you excited?" She ask. "Yeah can't wait to be done with school period." I say with a laugh. She laugh too. About 10pm I was done I said goodbye to Lilly and head out to my car. I arrive at my house around 10:45pm as I was getting out the car my phone buzz. I look at it, it was Jase but I was still angry with him so I didn't answer my phone. I shut the door and walk into the house. I walk into the living room and Janeka, Dejuan, and Destiny on the couch watching Finding Nemo. "Hey guys. Where's Shaunta and Brandon?" I ask as I drop my keys in the key bowl. "Hey." They said. "Shaunta still at work and I think Brandon is upstairs." Said Janeka. "Oh okay." I say as I go in the kitchen. I was making a sandwich when Janeka walks in. "So next week I'm taking Dejuan to meet my parents." Janeka said and I raise a brow. She raise her hands. "Hey his idea not mind." She said with a laugh then sigh. I look at her. "I'm just nervous a little." Said Janeka and I almost choke on my sandwich. "What Janeka nervous absurd." I laugh and she stick her tongue out at me. "Oh shut up and I said a little, plus you know my mom she see's me happy and she find someway to ruin it." Said Janeka and I frown. "Yea your mom can be a butt, but don't let her Neka I mean if you really love this person she can't ruin anything." I say the last part with a smirk. "Yea I guess you ri- whoa wait I never said anything about love I care about him A LOT that's it." She said blushing. I just smile at her. "I mean yea he makes me smile and blush a lot not that you can tell. And yea he's cute, funny, smart, sweet, silly, good listener, put me in my place sometimes, and CAN be so annoying sometimes but that doesn't mean love." She said with a shy smile and blush. I give her a knowing smile. "Is Janeka Jones blushing." I said and she blush harder. "Shut up." She said as she left the kitchen in a rush. I laugh as I went back to eating my sandwich. My phone started ringing it was Jase I sigh and walk out back threw the sliding doors and answer it. "What do you want Jase?" I ask. "Naomi please I'm sorry I didn't mean it." Said Jase. "Its doesn't matter if you meant it or not. Jase what you said was hurtful, disrespectful, and just plain ignorant." I said as I sit on the back step. "I know and I don't think you're a black monkey or whore who got by on her knees." Said Jase. "Its doesn't matter Jase! That fact that YOUR DAD and other guy said that and to top it off that guy spit on me." I said but he didn't say anything. I let out a bitter laugh. "Its crazy I don't know what's worst the fact that you didn't say anything or you started laughing with them. I mean is that the real reason why you was hanging around me huh was going tell all your little white boy friends I smash the black monkey." I said. "What no!, I like you Naomi." He said. "Bullshit and you know it. Like me yeah right if you like me then why did you let them say that huh or better yet let that ass spit on me huh!! You didn't like me when I was crying and asking why you laughing." I said as my eyes started to water. "Its wasn't bullshit I just I didn't know what to do or say." He said. I laugh bitterly. "Please Naomi its not that easy." He pleaded. "I'll make it easy for you stop calling me don't talk to me just leave me alone. Find your a girl your father approve of bye." I said as I hang up. I know he had more to say but I don't care. My phone started ringing again but this time it was my mom. I answer and she was just telling me that her and my family are here. After I got off the phone I went in the house said goodnight to Janeka and them and then went upstairs to go to bed.
