The Best Is Yet To Come...Sorta

K-pop

Some words in Korean and then the girls would scream so high pitched that my my eardrums would ring.
My friend Annie who is obsessed with... uh.. K-pop.. I think that's what it's called, invited me to a concert. She really wanted to have a friend come along. Other friends of hers hated K-pop, but I have never heard it before. I'm not a fan of pop music. Only classical music. So.... Annie lied to me and said she got VIP tickets and ninth row seats to a K-Class..... Korean Classical music.... show. Of course I said yes to that, but as we slowly started approaching our seats. I observed some of the audience. Majority of them were teenage girls with shirts that had identical symbols. In fact, almost every girl was wearing that same shirt. Just like Annie. I started to wonder what type of classical orchestra this was. I looked over at, what appeared to be a couple, the girlfriend was giggling and video taping the empty stage...while the boyfriend had heavy duty ear muffs covering his ears and a Nintendo DS Lite in his hand just playing away on Pokémon. That's when I realized. I was dragged to a K-pop concert.

Anyways, now I'm watching as the members take turns introducing themselves. EVERY TIME the girls would scream. EVERY TIME!!!!! There introductions sounded a little like this.

"AN YEO HASEEEOOO JIN."

*Girls Shriek

I mean, WHAT THE HECK?!!? I cringe to the sound of piercing screams. I look at Annie and she laughs at my constipated annoyed face that is saying, Why Annie.. just why.

"Try to enjoy it Rio!!! It's not every day you get to see cute guys from Korea!! Especially this band." Annie yells.

"What band even is this!!?????", I yell back.

"Only one of the best K-pop band.....BTS!!", she squeals.

"WAAAT??? BAG OF CHIPS?!!?"

"NO RIO... BTS!!!"

BTS? What the FLIP? I have never heard of them. I continue looking at the members on stage. ARE THEY WEARING MAKE UP??! Annie leans in and speaks.

"Ahhh!!! My bias is coming up next! Its Jungkook!!!"

"T-that's...great!!", I yell.

"Who do you like Rio!??? You have to at least think on guy is cute!!", she giggled.

I looked closely at the members and saw the microphone fall into the hands of a pretty descent looking guy.

"I think he's alright.", I tell her.

"AHHHH!!!!", she squeals.

"OOOWWWWWW!!!!", I yell.

"You like Taehyung!!!!! Oh my gosh!!!", she yelled.

"WAAAT?? TATER TOTS??!?"

"NOOO RIO!! Just call him V!!"

"Ok! Then.. V is my sorta favorite."

Annie started to laugh. When they boys started to dance, girls started crying and singing to the song. Their music wasn't bad at all, but there dance moves were a little PG-13. The boys had a way of charming the girls. It was kinda like a trance. BTS would dance. The girls would scream. BTS would talk. The girls would cry. Either way I would suffer and feel my soul crawling closer to death.

"RIO!!! TRY TO FIND YOUR BIAS DANCING!!!"

"UHH OK!!!!"

I look on stage and try to find...V... what the- WHAT THE HECK!!! WHERE IS HE?!?? IS THAT HIM? No... I think that's
J-Hope. THEY ALL LOOK ALIKE!!!! I CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCES!!!

AFTER BTS sang about 1,455 songs, they made an announcement about VIP members that get to meet them at 8:50. Good thing we were going home.

"Wasn't that awesome Rio?!!!"

"Yeah.. it was interesting!"

"OK!! So we have about 45 minutes to get something to eat and then we'll had to the Sunset Hotel Suit."

"Wait... Annie!! That's were you go to meet the BTS members."

"Yes!!! I know... that's where we'll be heading."

"WHAAAT?!??"

"WE'RE GONNA MEET BTS!!"

I stared at the concrete and then fell to my knees.

My life... is over.
