The Drinks

I shouldn't have come here, yet I couldn't just leave my two friends in this mess. Youth and Rebellious actions fill the air. People in the pool, people in the kitchen, people in the rooms, people everywhere. This party was supposed to be supervised, but it's only teenagers. I should be at home sleeping or watching Tv. I could leave, but I would have to bring my two friends with me, I can't find them! Mom, parties are much more different now. It's not like your days.

"Sweetie, you should go, be young and enjoy your time in high school"

"Mom, please, there will be all types of kids there."

"Which means more friends to make. You don't want to leave the girls waiting!!!"

Now I'm here, sitting on the couch with a desire for a bottle of water, I'm so dehydrated, probably from my Minnie anxiety attacks. I have the nerve to go to the kitchen to get a bottle of water.

I bumped into Jack Afton.
"Ohhh hey. What do ya need?" He asked in a drowsy tone.

Hold up! No way, don't tell me that... ALCOHOL IS ON THE PREMISES!

"Jack are-are you drunk?"

"Heh... not completely, so you can trust me."

"I just need water."

Jack walks to the rows of red plastic cups lined up on the counter. He hands me a cup. Then slaps me on the back. I give him a weak smile. He walks towards the back door to the pool.

The music just got louder.

🎶Are we not good enough?
Are we not brave enough?
To become something greater
Than the violence in our nature?
Are we not good enough
Or is it all a dream?🎶

This song is by Rise Against, I should know, since I requested it to play on the phone.

I was about to take a sip of the drink when I thought, what if it has alcohol. I wiff my hand over the drink to see if I smell anything suspicious. I put my face closer to the cup. Someone walks by and bumps into me. I get some of the the drink in my mouth. Blurrggghhhhh. I quickly set the cup down and jog to the bathroom. As I'm about to open the door I see Kize come out of the restroom. He finches when he see's me standing in front of him with my hand over my mouth.

"Woah, you good?"

"I need to throw up." I push his body aside and make my way to the sink. Kize leans against the door frame watching me. I place my hands on the side of the sink and look at myself in the mirror. I'm wearing and striped turtleneck with an overall skirt, earlier I pulled my hair back into a low messy bun. I observe the rest of myself. I'm an idiot for coming here. Now I'm gonna have to pay the price.

I lift my hand to the ceiling and point to fingers up. I immediately put my fingers in my mouth as far as possible so I could gag. I want this stuff out of me, even if it was an ounce that went in.

Kize rushes from watching me to helping me.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Don't make yourself sick!"

Kize grabs my hand and moves it away from my mouth.

I begin to explain.

"I think I accidentally drank alcohol and I want it out of my body, I'll start seeing things and go crazy. It's not good for me." Kize gives me a concerned look.

"It won't be that bad. I didn't drink anything, but the 7up in the red cups."

"Kize! Those had alcohol in them!"

"WHHHHHAAAAAAAT?"

"Oh my gosh"

"Well, I only took a two sips, since it tasted weird."
