I let out a big yawn as I check the papers of the patients I will do the rounds today. The sun hasn't risen yet and I barely have time to grab breakfast, but I have to be in the hospital to do my duty as an intern or the first year in my chosen residence.

Things really happened so fast. Who would have thought that after all those long, torturous days in the medical school, I'll be able to reach this part of my chosen field? I thought, I would fail and eventually drop out from the university. But my grades or should I say, my study habits drastically change from being a devil-may-care to burning the midnight oil, making me pass all the subjects with flying colors. I still couldn't believe myself that I could be like that...

And it's all because of that engineering moon who pushed and helped me achieve the impossibilities...

Two years have passed when we officially got into a romantic relationship...

Until all good things have to end once the world seems to be against your side. No matter how much you fought for it, time would come where you have to give up and let go of everything. To surrender with aching heart, because it's the best before deeper wounds could be inflicted to one another...

Fortunately, I have a veryyy sympathetic, tolerant, resilient, and loving boyfriend who never gives up on me regardless of my busy schedule, unbearable smartaleck attitude, unpredictable moods during my asshole friends called 'red days', and troublesome behavior. He accepts everything without complaining a thing, except when I was messing around the bed. Hence, causing me to fall for him every now and then.

Hehe. I was kidding when I said 'all good things have to end.' Well, honestly speaking, it's not always an icing to a cupcake moment. We are normal couple who undergoes series of arguments and misunderstandings, especially when I was in my so-called worst day. I tend to vent out all my wrath on him (Yes, I know. I am a horrible person >_<). I even punch him one time because I was so annoyed by the idea that I was annoyed (See? I know, I am kind of...peculiar in some other days). However, instead of meeting my anger, he would calmly let me rant all my feelings until I feel better, and realize what I have done to him. I'd be making up with him after, but I won't tell you how.

On his part, I am so annoyed by the fact that Forth doesn't eat fruits!! Imagine that, a big man like him doesn't eat fruits!!! And I love fruits. So, we usually fight over the foods we have to eat. He has stopped smoking long ago, which I am so glad about. But, his being a picky eater is driving me up the wall!!

He's eating vegetables, rarely. Oftenly, sweet foods like cakes, ice cream, chocolates (he loves chocolates), cookies, and all kinds of sweet foods. No wonder he does a lot of sweet talks. But, I am afraid, he'll get a disease, diabetes in particular, if he wouldn't follow the diet plan I even asked from my dietitian friend. Then, every time I'll trick him into eating fruits, he'll get sulky that lasts for about thirty minutes when I didn't console him. Hehe! I actually find it hilarious at the same time adorable whenever he's acting like a child, so I'll just let him be until he goes back to his normal self, and 'punishes' me for being so mischievous.

How he still manages to be in perfect shape is a big mystery for me. If you'll get to see his muscles... (which I suggest do not dare to try if you want to have a peaceful life)... it's all firm and sturdy (this is enough description of his muscles).

The thing is, we are staying in love despite some petty or serious arguments and misunderstandings. We have this golden rule whenever those things happen: not allow a day pass without reconciling...

.....

In the hospital, I finish my rounds at around 7am, with a few whining and wailing from the children who do not like to be awakened early in the morning. I immediately write my reports and while doing it, I use the chance to grab a quick breakfast. The last night's on-call team has presented also some clinical cases for discussion. After that, we do another rounds as a team with our senior resident, then conduct a meeting/discussion to formulate plans and write orders (tests, medications, etc.) for the patients...
