34. Fun memory together

It's Saturday. 

Pha and I have decided to go together using my vehicle to the resort Mingkwan has cited on his messages once the day break. It will save us from the traffic jam, and we can take a rest for a bit as we wait for the main couple of this event. Especially seeing how tired this cheeky man is who already falls asleep in the passenger seat, it would be preferred to arrive early.

"Ai'Forth, how could you wear out Ai'Beam last night? I told you to take plenty of sleep for this day, and not the other way around," Pha snides the moment he and Yo hop in the backseat and finds his best friend in deep slumber. When it really comes with dirty thoughts, trust Pha in giving one.

I glance at Beam. His head is a little askew that if we accidentally cross a rough road, he'll slam his head on the window.

"What the heck are you saying, Pha? He's been coming home late these past days, that's why he lacks some sleep," I retort as I adjusted his head as well as his seat to make him more comfortable.

The days prior to this time, he's been hectic with his hospital duties, particularly attending to nong Lily's case. The girl who claims to be my love's wife. If it's other person, someone like Samuel perhaps, I wouldn't allow him or her claim my love as his or hers. However, looking how cute this little angel is, and how she can make Beam smile at his work, I let her be his wife. It's just unfortunate that she has an ailment that can't be easily treated with medicine. She needs a heart transplant, and Beam even dragged me to her family to convince them because they were skeptical about it...

I actually managed to convince them, and honestly speaking, until now, I didn't know how I did it. But it's the reason I finally got to meet her. She's playful and babbly just like what Beam said inspite of her apparent weak body. No wonder, Beam is giving all he can to cure her.

However, it doesn't mean he no longer care with the others. He's working on each of his patients' cases, he barely have time for himself. He worries for them a lot. This little girl is just so special as she has engraved a space in his heart. 

I only met her once, but I feel like protecting her, too. Currently, they're looking a perfect heart to replace her faulty one...

Going back, since Pha is seated behind Beam, he immediately complains at the way I adjusted Beam's seat gives him a narrow space. However, Yo's sweet and obviously dozy voice hushes him down. Then, Yo pulls Pha closer to him so he can lean his head on his shoulder to also sleep.

"It seems like you're the one who wore out your boyfriend," I comment in a quite voice.

Pha mouths a cuss on me before he looks lovingly at Yo while patting his head. I can only smirk at the scene, then shift my gaze on the person I cherish the most. 

Seriously, if there is one thing...or person rather, who can cause us (former moons of the university) to be weak, yet give us strength at the same time, it's our love ones.

Before I drive off, I make sure that Beam is, somehow, cozy in his position. The place is not that far from the capital of Thailand. Hua hin is a perfect weekend travel destination for those who want to relax for a bit without going too far from Bangkok. It also offers a lot of fun activities, and of course, it's the home of the most beautiful beach and resorts.

Mingkwan has really premeditated this day. He really wants to make it exceptionally perfect for his beloved Kit as what he always does every year. 

Suddenly the man behind this trip calls, starling awake the person beside me since I forgot to put my phone in silent mode.

I answer it right away while Beam groggily looks around.
