Rasa has a Monster

A quick explanation

I have thought about somethings in this story and I would like to cover those things here in this part.

First and foremost, I am well aware that there are A LOT of typos and mistakes. I have not edited any part of this story. Editing will most likely be done after this story ends.

In the first chapter, Mai is 16 years old and Fumi is 18. Fun fact, Fumi is the ninja she runs to for help when she was almost taken advantage of while in the transformation jutsu. Also in the first chapter it implies that she is typing out a update for a story, she was. I didn't state however, that because of her having no Wi-Fi, she was using her mobile hotspot to access her drafts and documents without her mom knowing.

She enters the Narutoverse at sixteen years old and stays sixteen through out the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th chapters. In the "GAARA!!" chapters there is a 5 year time skip so she is 21 years old, while Fumi is 23. And when this story reaches the 'Naruto' story arc I'm going to make Asuma, Kakashi, and Gai 23 also, as well as some others. Kurenai and Iruka will be 22. But that is when the story reaches the original shows plot. So right now at this moment Kakashi is 16, while Mai is 21 and Fumi is 23. So keep this math in mind. Others ages will most likely not be stated, but if you would like to know then please don't be afraid to ask. I (Gaaras_Eyebrows) don't bite. (Well not hard anyways) Their ages probably won't be stated anywhere in the book other than here.

In the 2nd chapter Temari is 2 and a half years old and Kankuro is 1 and a half. It says in another chapter that they were "at school". Don't think of it as actual ninja classes, think of it as ninja preschool for Temari and introductions to ninja preschool for Kankuro. This way they are getting prepared for the actual academy behavior wise . In the time skip Temari is 7 and Kankuro is 6 while Gaara is 5. I made them all a year apart :3 In my story I made it so that they start the academy at the age of 6 instead of the widely used age of 8. In my opinion I think from 8-12 ( a 4 year time period) is simply not enough time to train in the basics of a ninja, especially for civilian born students like Sakura. Not only would there be the physical fighting part of being a ninja, there would be other key points. Chakra and jutsus being another key part, but there would most likely be much more "subjects" to cover. Such as Evasion, stamina, the hiding of ones presence and for ninjas like Lee there would most likely be extra training in these physical subjects. Also there's the basic core subjects. Mathematics, Reading, Science, Writing, and History. Which I think history would be another major key point. Also for kunoichi, they have a whole other set of "Subjects" that are taught just to the females. (Kunoichi classes) With all of these things in mind, I just feel 4 years just isn't long enough, so I tacked on another 2 years.

I don't think the age of Rasa is very important but I will give him a age anyways. He will be 39 and for the heck of it Karura will be 34. This is when Mai first appears in the Narutoverse.  Just do the math if you want to know their ages in the time skip.

At the moment, Gaara is 5. Naruto and Gaara will be the same age, so Naruto is 5 at this time also. I am also going to make Shikamaru and Sasuke a year older so they will be 6 while the rest of the Rookie 9 are 5 years old also. Team Gai are all 6 years old.

In the chapter "Lullaby" Gaara is 8 months. I googled when babies learned to talk and it said that they can learn as early as 6 months old. I figured 6 months would be a bit to early so I made it 8 months.

Also, throughout the story, there are parts where Gaara is asleep. Before you all yell at me saying "BLEGH!! GAARA DOESN'T NEED SLEEP!!! SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!! BLAH BLAH BLAH SHUKAKU BLAH!!!" I know that when he's older, Gaara does not sleep. But as a child?? I don't believe for a second that he didn't sleep. He is so much younger and doesn't have as much self control, nor is he aware that he is a jinchuriki. I believe that Shukaku is just dormant, like the nine tails was in Naruto. Naruto didn't know he had Kurama until Mizuki told him, and he never came into any type of contact with any part of the nine tails until he felt a whole new type of pain during the Zabuza and Haku mission. I believe Gaara found out about Shukaku when he felt a whole new type of pain when Yashamaru tried to kill him so he faced Shukaku way earlier than Naruto and THAT is when Gaara stopped sleeping. Gaara felt the pain of betrayal and Naruto felt the pain of losing someone. I think that the bijuu are no longer dormant when their host loosen the seal by experiencing extreme negative emotions, at least with Shukaku and Kurama anyways. THIS IS A OPINION!! I KNOW THAT I AM PROBABLY WRONG BUT THIS SEEMS REASONABLE TO ME!! This is the way it will be in my story okay. Can you role with that?

Last thing A.L and Fumi's cast are for VOICES ONLY! A.L is a fucking lizard there's no way he can look like Alex Turner and you all are going to get a description of Fumi sooner or later. Mai looks and sounds like Tinashe, but A.L AND FUMI ONLY SOUND LIKE THEIR CAST, THEY DO NOT LOOK LIKE THEM.

So time isn't in abundance as much as it was about a month ago. But it is only me who is writing this specific book.
