Huah!

Okay, I might have gone a bit overboard with the running with a child in my arms. Because I have no idea where we are at all. One minute I'm running with Isao in my arms with Kiji following and the next we are somewhere over the rainbow!! I was trying extra hard not to loose sight of the others too. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!" I looked over at Kiji who has been yelling at me non-stop since we realized we were lost. "C-calm down K-Kiji." Isao, the poor boy, tried to calm the hotheaded brunette. But he failed while looking so adorable. "Listen kid, all we need to do is get to the nearest village or landmark, figure out where we are, and from there I'm sure I can get us to Konoha. We should be near somewhere by now with how long we've been walking." I turned back to the road and kept walking. We had all of the required identification and papers, so I'm sure everything would be fine. I hope. Behind me I could hear Kiji grumbling, probably cursing my existence right now. Oh well, I don't need his approval. I'm awesome without him. "Anyways, M-miss. You are the owner of the s-shop on the dock, right?" I heard the adorable boy who I had decided to call mouse. "Yes, my darling mouse! Why do you ask?" I said turning slightly to face him. "O-oh, no reason really. I had just been thinking recently of looking f-for a part t-time j-job." I watched him as he yet again pulled his hands up and covered his already covered eyes. My eye started twitching slightly. I, I don't think I can handle this. He's too damn cute! Oh my heart!! "Hmm, I'll see what I can do then. I'm sure I can offer you something though." Smiling brightly at him I turned and started walking a bit faster as I could see the entrance of a village. "SWEETNESS!! YOU WERE RIGHT LADY!!" Kiji shouted as he ran to the station by the front gate. "Hmph. He actually doubted me." I grumbled out as we caught up to him.

" So lady, this guy says we're not actually at a village, we're at the Fire Temple." Kiji had informed us as soon as we caught up. Okay the fire temple is near Konoha, but how the hell did we get so off course? "If my memorization of the map of the Land of Fire is correct, and I'm pretty sure it is, then that means we, completely. . . . . bypassed Konoha. . . . " I said slumping over. Konoha was closer to the heart of the country and we where coming from the south. The Fire Temple was north of Konoha, so we miraculously went around Konoha and stumbled upon the temple. Kiji and Isao looked at me looking flabbergasted. "H-how in the hell DID WE RUN AROUND KONOHA??!" Kiji started off calm but exploded on me. "I DON'T KNOW! DON'T GET PISSY WITH ME BRAT!! I'VE NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN THE LAND OF FIRE MUCH LESS GONE TO KONOHA!!!" I yelled back. "OH GREAT, WELL THAT'S JUST FANTASTIC!! LOOK AT THAT ISAO, WE'RE TRAVELING WITH SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHERE TO GO!!!" He insulted. I was about to start arguing with this little brat when Isao quietly called me. Turning towards him I saw about 15-20, what I'm guessing, monks just staring at the two of us as we had our yelling match at their front door. "Y-you're both making a big s-scene." Isao said quietly while moving to stand behind me, not liking the attention. "Some noble you are. You're making us look bad." Kiji grumbled as he also discreetly moved to stand behind me. Hell at this point I wanted to stand behind me. "Uhh. Hi?" I tried to alleviate some of the awkwardness but only failed epically. I felt one of the boys grab the back of my shirt, probably Isao. Now that I actually see these people, I noticed that they're all men!! I had never really met a monk in my old world, nor this one, and Fumi failed to give me a crash course in this. What do I do??? The monks in ALTA looked so much nicer, ya know, before they all died. Oh god, now is not the time!

"Guys, what do I do?" I whispered, hopefully quiet enough, to the boys behind me. "I don't know! I've never been to a temple before!! Do something though!" Kiji whispered back heatedly. I frowned. He's annoying. I straightened up and got into character finally deciding what to do. By this time most of the monks had walked off back to do what they were doing before. I turned to the two at the check station. "I do apologize for our display earlier. Please allow me to explain, we had gotten separated from the rest of our group earlier and somehow strayed away from the road we were supposed to be taking to Konoha. We happened to come across this temple by chance. Now that I know where exactly we are, we will be taking our leave. Thank you for helping us." I bowed and turned leaving them no room to say anything. I placed my hands on both the boys back and started walking again. Please let us go, PLEASE LET US GO! So far so good. Looks like I did something rig- "Miss!" NOOO! ABORT, ABORT MISSION!!! Oh god!!! I tuned back to see a boy, not much taller than Kiji jogging towards us. Behind him I saw the station people staring intently at him. Hmmm, wonder what that's about. "Yes?" I asked as I turned fully towards the slate grey haired boy. "Y-you dropped this." He held out one of my tesson. How the hell did I not notice? "Oh, thank you!" I smiled brightly at him and grabbed my fan. Opening my eyes I noticed the boys face had fully flushed and he had wide eyes. What did I do now? "Um, thank you. Shouldn't you get back to the temple?" I asked him. His face fell slightly. I raised my eyebrow as he muttered something out. "What was that dear? Speak up or no one will ever hear you." His mumbling reminded me of something, someone. Those stares also, I swear I've seen similar stares before. But where? "You're p----" He said, but he trailed off at the end. "I can't hear you kid." I said growing uneasy yet again as the stares from the other two grew more intense. I stumbled back as the boy yelped out something I couldn't understand and quickly ran off before I could question anything. "Ummm, okay then?" I turned back to the boys who only shrugged and off we went.
