Chapter 20: Fair fun

As always in my little town of Fonda the fair comes once a year. This year was different for me than last year this was the first time in 5 years since I chose not to compete in the Miss Fonda Fair pageant . I had taken a year off when I did win so I could try some new things and boy did I. This year was an amazing year at the fair  yet a very exausting year for me who knew that walking so much could eventually wear you down like no tomorrow. My first day at the fair went well we were just scoping out things and came to watch the tractor pulls. Which the pulls weren't bad but they weren't the greatest either. I talked to Matt the entire time while I was at the fair grounds just because I needed someone to talk to because it seemed like no one was there the first day.

In all honesty it felt so weird to be t the fair grounds without him. Most people always have someone to go with them to the fair which is normally their best friend and their boyfriend or girlfriend the 3rd of the fair I had one but not the other I had brought my best friend Aleah with me. We had both had a wrist band to go on the rides because it is cheaper to buy the wristband then to buy individual tickets for each ride. We soon met up with another one of my friends Tyler Frolke. He also just so happened to also be Aleah's ex but Aleah left him on good terms and they seemed alright about going on rides together as a team all 3 of us. Little did I know that the damn spinning puppy ride that is normally meant for little kids could be so harsh when you have some one about 5 times the size of you spinning the wheel on the inside to control how fast you are spinning. Tyler spun us so fast to the point to where we were sticking to the walls on the ride. 

After we had gotten off the ride I felt like I was going to throw up my lunch which I ha just eaten an hour ago Tyler asked me if we wanted to go on another ride with him and Aleah I said maybe but first we need to find a bathroom. Aleah asked me if I was okay to walk and I said I don't quite know this was proboly due to the mix of my upset stomach and slightly over heating due to the coat I was wearing.. Then Tyler popped up and asked would you like me to give you a piggy back ride and I sid sure it would proboly help me if I got off my feet a little. I went to the bathroom and Tyler got some food because he was perished from being at the fair all day. He shared his cheese fries with me and they helped ease my headache that was starting. After lunch we played mini golf which Tyler beat me in by 2 points the score was 26 to 28. 

Following mini-golf we went on some more rides then met up with Aleah's 8 year old cousin Jake who is just the sweetest boy you will ever meet but he is also very funny. He warmed up to me right off the bat and I went on a few rides with him the classic tilt-a-whirl and carosel along with the wiggle worm. Aleah and I bought matching friendship bracelets they were black and white and had a dream catcher in the center. I told he about how me and Matthew had been doing because earlier in the day seh told me why she broke up with Tyler now if it had been the other way around Tyler would have seen a very different Caitlin. 

On the 4th day of the fair my friend Kaytie needed someone to go with so she invited me because Aleah was spending time with another friend. So Kaytie and I began to walk around the fair grounds while my parents were spending time with my grand parents . I also on this day had again met up with Tyler he wanted to go on rides again today and already had a wrist band like Kaytie and I. So we went on the same rides that we went on with Aleah. Now as you can imagine from almost 2 days worth of walking my feet and lower back were killing me and I knew if I didn't take a rest or get off my feet for even a short period of time I was going to get an ear full from Matthew and that isn't something I really want. So Tyler heard me say this and offered to give me piggy back rides to get off my feet. if you think I am kidding around when I said my feet and lower back hurt. I am not kidding you it felt like there were pins in my feet and my ankles were in a vice. My lower back felt as if though someone had taken me and twisted me the wrong way literally.

At around 8 o'clock I wanted to go home because of the pain in my feet and lower back honestly it would have been heven if some one could have just rubbed the spot on my back where I was sore it wouldn't even have to be a full on back message just my lower and middle back oh i would have killed for that. Tyler went on one more ride while me and Kaytie waited for him so we could say goodbye. Also during the day Tyler kept saying about how "You know these piggyback rides are fine now but if Matthew saw he wouldn't approve" This almost implied that he was there t the fair somehow which I knew he wasn't he was at pop's lake campground for Halloween weekend. He also said things like " You your good now but wait until your boyfriend shows up and sees". Now unless Tyler had some magical transportation device to get him to be able to come to the fair and I knew that wasn't going to happen. This made me a little upset but I didn't want to ruin Tyler's fun. Randomly through that day Tyler would also pull my ponytail an dthat did not result in a scream it resulted in something else.... this also resulted in Tyler being slapped more then once but him continuing to do it till me to finally stopping when we had to seperate and meet up with my parents.

So that night when Kaytie and I had to leave because my feet were killing me and Kaytie had to baby sit in the morning. After Tyler got off the ride 1001 nachts with Keegan we told him goodbye and we gave him a hug little did I know someone was watching my backside. Later that night I saw that Aleah was in a relationship with someone needless to say I was thrilled to hear this. Then I saw with who he looked familiar but I could not put my finger on where I knew him from for the longest time anyway. Later that night he sent me a friend's request over Facebook and I accepted it. I then commented on one of his post which was one of the comment your name and I will rate you. I was suprised when he gave me a 9 because it is such a high number. He then replied with: You should always have high rates because you are beautiful and if people can't see that then they are blind. I was wondering if he was just kidding around with me but he wasn't. He messaged me about it and we talked more, his name was Coty by the way.

We talked about my past relationships and what he said to me once I was finished was : "You have been through hell I am sorry." I then said : Yeah and I noticed a recurring theme in all of my relationships they were never in any way apart of me all 3 of my exes in a way either used me or played me like a fucking fiddle. We talked for a while about that and then I told him the one thing not to do when it came to him dating Aleah. I said to him please don't send me a photo of you two together because I am in a long distance relationship and because I do not get to see my boyfriend all the time seeing something like that is heartbreaking to me. I only told him this because Tyler did this to me while he was dating Aleah knowing the situation I was in. This did break my heart on a few levels. Needless to say Coty said he would obey that one rule for me and that made me feel better.  Then come to find out his mother knows my mother and we have been going to the same school for about 2 years. Also over these 2 years I didn't recognize him but he sure ad hell recognized me right off the get go. He said he remembered me because he had a crush on me and I was beautiful and also of course my butt. Which I think is funny considering he was looking when I didn't know he was. He was always keeping an eye on me secretly in school. I in a way described it to him as so you were practically my own personal stalker that I have known for years but forgot about but yoi always remembered me . I had never knew anyone to wait that long to admit something like that to someone especially when they are already in a relationship. It made me feel better knowing that I knew who he was and who my best friend was dating. Same goes with him he checked Matthew's profile for my safety because he doesn't know him personally. I am just glad he cared enough to see if I was in a relationship was happy and was safe now that to me is a friend. I was still in shock over the fact that A. Our mothers have known each other for years and I forgot about him. B. That I managed to forget about him and C. That remembered me.
I also found out later that night that he was the one staring at my backside at the fair. I was shocked by this too. Over the fact that I saw him at the fair and didn't recognize him.

I also told Matt what Tyler was doing to me at the fair which was bring up him everytime he gave a piggy back ride or I used koala mode so he still had his hands free. Honestly Tyler is so tall compared to me he is a tree so I can just be a koala so his hands stay free. Needless to say Matt was not all that happy yes he would still consider Tyler to be a friend once he met him he just wouldn't know how to react to some of his comments. But it was Tyler bringing up the fact that Matt could not be at the fair with me and I was trying to have a good time so that wasn't helping at all what so ever because I already missed him enough. Matt just wasn't a happy camper at that point . I never did though figure out wether or not he would forgive Tyler or not he probably would but Matthew is a forgive not forget type of person so that kind of all ready told me. I just hope Tyler will not be mad at me for telling Matthew how I felt.
