Chapter 28: The Word that Goes Around

    Just like any normal day I walk into school exspecting it to go semi-normal. On this  day though it seemed that wasn't going to happen for me at all. All I could say at the end of this day was at least it's Friday. This Friday however I had, had gym in the morning like I do every other day. Students were given the option to walk or to play badminton I chose to walk this day because I was tired from the night before. My best friend Ari had woke me up wondering if I could cover her babysitting shift which I did end up covering but I didn't mind.

   So after walking the 40 minutes of the class period it was time for everyone to go in and change. I however did not have to change because I had worn casual clothes to school. As I was just about ready to go and I was texting Matthew like I do every morning when I can. She spoke up and said "So I heard you have been dating someone for 3 years, is it true ?" I say to her yes it is and tell her that I am talking to him right now and show her the picture of him and I that is on my home screen on my phone. 

  After this she keeps asking " 3 years?, 3 years?, Really 3 years? " and after about 4 times of me saying  yes the last time she asks I say in an adjitated tone " Yes, now shut up i have heard enough of it already." Hearing this rumor come up again after 3 years of not hearing anything of it was very annoying to me espcially hearing it from a sophmore of all people.  

  I walked out of the girls locker room and waited for my friend Lauren who is a senior to walk out so I can tell her what happened. She was a little shocked by what I told her she also didn't know who the person was. I showed her who the person was that said what she had done to me. 

  Then i was waiting outside in the hallway the exit outside like I normally do since I go to B.O.C.E.S after first period. I was just standing there minding my own buisness when all the sudden a boy came up to me and said "So one of my friends told me you have been dating a guy for 3 years now." I say "Yes, and what does it matter to you?"  All he says 3 times to me is "No you haven't. " This statement being heard over and over again sent me from exstreamly angry to very upset. 

  I was happy when I got to B.O.C.E.S though because it would be a very relaxing . Going there most of the time puts me into a happy state because I can just cook and not let anything bother me that and when you cut something with a knife you can imagine it's whoever you are adjitated at it works relaltivly well overall to relive stress when you don't have an asshole for a partner to work with. The rest of my day went kind of okay.

  When I told Matthew about the rumor that was going around again it bothered him and honestly I don't blame him it pissed me off to no end too it was crazy. Then on top of everything I had to babysit that night and I wasn't feeling that well but in the end I guess I shouldn't dwell on it I graduate next year.
