I look into your eyes,

I stare as they glisten,

I see the love that’s waiting there,

But that’s just me.

I see them put you down,

I see them look and laugh,

I smile to make you smile,

But that’s just me.

I see your transformation,

I see the way you’ve changed,

I see that you’ve grown up,

But that’s just me.

I know this day is perfect,

I know that because you’re here,

I know that because you’re beautiful,

But that’s just me.

I know I’ll never judge you,

I know you’ll tell the truth,

I know because I love you,

But that’s just me.
