I’m not a superhero,

I don’t have any powers.

I’m not a superhero,

But I’ll buy you flowers.

I’m not a superhero,

I can’t save the day.

I’m not a superhero,

But I’ll take you on a date.

I’m not a superhero,

I can’t fly.

I’m not a superhero,

But I’ll be alive.

I’m not a superhero,

And a good thing too,

Because I’m not a superhero,

You trust me, and I trust you.

I’m not a superhero,

And it’s for the best,

But because I’m not a superhero,

I'll pass the test.

I may not be a superhero,

But when I’m with you I feel like one.

You may not be a superhero,

But I’ll spend my life making you feel like one.
