IN THIRD PERSON
Caylx couldn't do or say anything but let her mouth drop open in a wide O. This was unbeliveable she had thought. And why were they all here? All gathered in one spot? Caylx's head was spinning in confusion. Are they trapped? How could they be here for so long and noone notice? Finally, Caylx licked her lips and spoke.
"What is all this?"
"It is....well we don't know. We found it one day." Rick scratches his head nervously.
Below them, behind the chain link fence, is over a hundred walkers. Some are pushing to the front of the line, some are trying to squeeze their way through the tiny holes in the fence, and some even try to climb it.
The shock of the sight is overwhelming sometimes as if they escape you better get out of there fast...
"What are we doing here?" Caylx asks turning to Daryl.
"Well....we wanted to see how good you are with your arrows." He smiles. "You could close your eyes and hit one of those bastards easily. I mean look at all of em."
"I know...but thats a waste of an arrow." Caylx reasons. She really didnt want to lose an arrow. These are her good ones and not to mention it is also really uncomfortable to be around so many things that want to eat your flesh...
"Nah you'll only be doing one." Daryl smirks and his eyes flicker to Rick.
"Caylx....."Rick says. "See that over there." He points a finger out over the long field passed all the walkers.
"I dont see anything..." Caylx pauses and squints. That cant be.....No. Over in the distance, a walker is hung by a rope from a tree along with an assortment of other walkers as well as a few animals. A rotwieler and from this distance what looked to be a cat hung next to the one in the middle.
A big fat man with at least 7 different ropes dangling him from trees as he tries to move around. You can tell he is a walker by the way he relentlessly tries to get untied and looks rather unkept and dirty.
"That." Caylx says in disbelief. "That is like a mile away. What is this place? Some type of big field?"
"I dont really know.....for now its a shootin range." Rick states.
"But thats really...I dont want to do it." Caylx didnt want this memory going through her mind in fact she knew just the sight of all this would stick with her for a long time anyways.
"Oh come on. You want that thing to rott there?" Daryl reasons throwing his hands up.
"Yes." Caylx says seriously.
"Oh thats right I forgot. Your a hostile child." Daryl narrows his eyes at her and groans.
"Its revolting! And I just want to know its gone like the other ones hanging there. We shot em. Please...we cant get this one its hard. But you have aim." Rick pleads.
Hes right, Caylx knows that it is better to have that thing down. It would just feel wrong and weird to leave it there. It would be burning in the back of her mind. Shes got to do it.
She breathes out and looks at the dangling walker. "Am I using a gun? Cuz I've never really used one before plus my weapon is a bow....most guns are too big for me anyways and I am too thin or weak for them...they could break my bones....." Caylx responds ashamed. She always wanted to use a gun instead of a bow. It was quicker and it didnt take the time and care a bow and arrows did.
"Nah there is a place. We drive the car to the far left....down that road." Daryl says.
"You can shoot.....40 yards give or take?" Rick reasons squinting in the bright afternoon sun.
