Chapter 26

Next early morning, Jin got out of bed and got ready for school. Before going downstairs for breakfast, he went to check on Sohyun. He opened the door just enough to poke his head inside. He scanned the room and spot Sohyun still asleep under her covers with tissues all around her bed. Jin sighed and shook his head, then closed the door.

"Mm! Umma, it's delicious" Jin exclaimed giving his umma a thumbs up for the mouth watery breakfast.
"Really?" She chuckled. "Omo" She stopped
"What?" He asked watching his umma running back and forth.
"I'm late to Mrs. Kang's daughter's wedding" She grabbed her purse and keys. ".. I'll be back, make sure to wake Sohyun up for school, okay?" She gave him a peck on the forehead and left the house.
"Yae" Jin answered taking another bite of his breakfast

"Morning.." Sohyun said quietly and sleepily.
"Omo!" Jin dropped his fork and jumped back in his seat, startled by her abrupt appearance. She was so quiet he didn't even notice her coming down the stairs.
"Ahmm.. uh.. gw-gwenchana?" Jin asked choking on his food. He glanced at his sister and chuckled silently. She was a mess. She had dark, puffy eyes from all the crying she did last night, her hair in different directions, and was still in her pajamas.
"Ahem.. uhm, if you want.. you can stay home" Jin suggested. Sohyun just nod and walked away back to her room.

-at ______ High School-

"Hyung!" JungKook ran up to Jin and the hyungs once he got to school. "Is Sohyun here? Have you seen her?" He asked anxiously
"Aniyo" His hyungs replied
"She didn't feel like going to school so she stayed home.." Jin said
"Oh.." JungKook frowned
"Waeyo? What happened?" Rap Monster asked
"Ani.. it's nothing" JungKook chuckled nervously

~Sohyun's POV~

After hours of doing nothing, Sohyun walked around the house to find something to do. She did the laundries, some cleaning around the house, and bake some cookies. While working around the place Sohyun finally got her mind off of JungKook.
She sat on the kitchen countertop with her legs dangling back and forth while waiting for the cookies to be baked. By the time Jin came home school, the cookies was finish and well decorated with icing and sprinkles.
"Sohyun?" Jin called making his was to the kitchen
"Oppa, for you" Sohyun laid the plate of cookies on the counter once he came in.
"For me? Waeyo..?" He gazed at them before taking one
"Mm.. just because you're the only one I love ahe~" She smiled with her arms wrapped around his neck and her chin rest on his shoulder. Jin paused and frown from the words that escaped her lips, knowing that she doesn't meant that and that she is trying to forget the one she loved, JungKook.
"Sohyun-ah.. I know you didn't mean that" Jin said. Sohyun's smile disappeared as she released the grasp around his neck and stood up straight.
"..can't you give him a second chance?" He asked looking up at her
Sohyun plopped herself in a stool beside him and crossed her arms while looking forward with a slight pouty lips.
"I know you still love him, so don't pretend you don't.. Jiyoon--" He was cut off
"Jiyoon? Hah.. so this is what she wants..?" Sohyun hissed to herself feeling the tears threatening to escape.
"What?" Jin couldn't hear what she mumbling about. She turned to face him which made him jerked in his seat.
"I said he likes her!" Sohyun uttered, bursting into tears she quickly ran away and up to her room.

She bashed into her room, wiping away the tears with the back of her hand and threw herself on the bed. She landed on her front while she cried in her pillow. Just then, a strange clinking noise occurred outside her window.
Sohyun slowly sat up gazing over to see pebbles been thrown constantly. She curiously went over and open her window. In surprise her heart tore into pieces when she realize JungKook was standing anxiously outside her house.
"Sohyun-ah, I'm so sorry.. but please let me explain!" He shouted with sorrow in his eyes
She shook her head. ".. go home.. JungKook.." She murmured sadly feeling the tears trying to escape again.
"Sohyun!" JungKook called
"Go!" She closed her window shut and curled up against the wall with her face buried in her knees. Hearing his voice continuously calling her name doesn't stop her from shedding tears.
