Chapter 28 Part 3

~Daehyun's POV~

*tick, tock, tick, tock* Daehyun and Sohyun stayed after school in the library and studied. Daehyun couldn't help but to stare in wonder, noticing every detail on her face as she was in deep focus.
"Excuse me, the library will be closing early today" The librarian assistance told them
"Oh, really? Thank you" Daehyun said.
Sohyun stood up and began gathering up all her books and things. "We can continue this tomorrow"
He glanced down at his watch to see there was still daylight hours left. "Let's grab something to eat" He smiled

-Restaurant-

"We'll take two of these" Daehyun handed the menu back to the waitress.
"Waeyo?.. You could've just accompanied me home" Sohyun retorted with a slight pout
"Aniyo. I just wanted to celebrate with you" He eye smiled brightly
She perked at him. "For what?" She asked
He smiled and pulled out his phone and hand it to her. She took the phone in her hand and peered at a photo. A photo of Daehyun and his members with some other group of guys.
"Those are the groups that made Top 3" He smiled
She looked at him in surprise. "You made it?" She uttered. He chuckled silently and nodded.
"Really? Chukahaeyo" She exclaimed
He laughed mirthfully to himself. "Gomawo"
Just then he glanced around thought he heard a strange, but yet, familiar noise nearby.
"Is there s--" Sohyun cut her sentence short once the waitress came back with their orders.
"Kamsahamnida" Daehyun and Sohyun said in unison

After moments of eating the night sky rises and the two headed home. As they step out from the restaurant, Daehyun heard the same strange noise again. He turned around, but only to see nothing.

-Next Morning: Sohyun's House-

". You're not going out like that, are you?" Jin stood in front of Sohyun with arms crossed, stopping her from going any further.
"What?" She gaze at him then down at her clothes, as usual, her school uniform. "What's wrong with my clothes?"
"Haven't you heard, it's going to rain today" Jin said
She rolled her eyes playfully and walked pass him, shaking her head down the stairs.
"Yah, you gotta wear proper clothing or else you'll get sick" He said quickly skipping down the steps.

"Oppa~ I'll be fine" Sohyun said a bit irritated
He let out a heave of breath and stared at her.
"It's gonna rain this week." He quickly stated before dashing away into the kitchen to have his morning breakfast.
"Oppa!~" She whined. "Ayesh.." She pouted her lips and scowled.

-AfterSchool: Sohyun's POV~

Sohyun quickly gather up her belongings and rushed towards the main entrance, but stopped.
"Sohyun-ah!" She heard Daehyun hollering from behind.
"Oh? It's raining.." He said looking out the door
"Wait here, I'll go buy an umbrella and come back to get you" He said before taking a step, but halt and look back when Sohyun grasp onto his wrist.
"Aniya.." She said glancing at the rain, pouring constantly. ".. my house is closer, we can study there until the rain stops" She sheepishly smiled

Daehyun and Sohyun rapidly ran out in the rain, using their hands to cover up their heads until they reach Sohyun's house.

"Umma! Appa! I'm home~" She came bashing and shouting in the door as she start throwing her soaked clothes and shoes off.
"Omo! Aigoo.. why didn't you use an umbrella?" Umma exclaimed while dabbing her hair and clothes with a towel.
"Ahem" Jin cleared his throat, loudly enough for them to be heard and chuckled mirthfully to himself as he stood leaning against the wall with arms crossed.
Sohyun scowled at him with pouty lips. "I didn't thought I would need it" She turn to her umma
"Aigoo aigoo.. in this case, you're going to get sick" Umma said wrapping the towel around her head.
"Yae" Sohyun said. Just then the door opened and Daehyun came in all drenched.
"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Jung Daehyun" He greeted with a full bow. Jin slowly stood up straight as his smile faded away.
"Omo, who.." Umma's sentence trailed off in surprise.
"A-ah~ Umma, he's my studying partner and friend.. It was raining so I invited him here to study.." Sohyun panicky explained. ".. we-we're gonna go study now" She quickly nudge onto Daehyun's sleeve, signaling to follow her as they went upstairs. Daehyun smiled sheepishly and bowed his head before following after her.
