Sorry I havn't posted in a while... major drama going on at my school and in life. Hope you'll forgive me!

I was insane. I shouldn't be here. I should head home now, "Contestants 300-350 to the backstage holding area," oh no, I want to go home. I took some deep breaths. I could do this. I got up and walked to the holding area. I took some more deep breaths and started humming scales.

"Contestant number 326 to the wings," deep breaths Emma. You can do this. It's your dream. You've got it. I just kept repeating Nathan's complement in my head. I wasn't compleatly insane. I could- I stumbled forward as I was pushed onto the stage.

"Hello, what's your name?" One of the judges asked.

"Emma," I said, trying to control my voice, hopefully I wasn't showing it.

"Okay, Emma, go ahead," I began to sing.I was scared that they didn't stop me like they had with everyone else. I was terrified when they didn't say anything after I finished.

"Very, very good Emma," the same judge that had spoken before said after a few tense moments of silence, "I believe you should continue onto the next round. How about the rest of you guys," he said motioning to the rest of the panel. They all shook their head yes, still watching me with intent. I walked off. Then it hit me. I was moving on to the next level. I had to tell the guys. OMG! I AM GOING TO BE ON THE X FACTOR! I called Nathan.

"Hey! I've been trying to call, where are you?"

"Are you guys home?"

"After your birthday bash last night, half of them are still asleep. We're all hungover. I still cannot believe you wouldn't drink anything. You're legal!"

"Not in the US. Plus, I don't want to mess my brain nuerons up, thank you very little. I have some HUGE news so if you can shove the rest of the boys out of bed I'd appreciate it."

"What is it?"

"Not telling you yet. Get the boys up. I'm on my way over now."

"Fine! See you soon Em."

I walked into the boys apartment ten minuets later. They were sitting on the couch, waiting. I walked over to Nathan, gave him a kiss on the cheek, and stood in front of the boys.

"Why'd you make him get us up?" Max groaned.

"Em, this better be good," Tom added.

"I wanna go back to bed," Jay said.

"Well, it's quite good if I do say so myself, and it's four thirty in the afternoon so suck it up."

"Spit it out Em, I'm freaking out over here!"

"It's been my lifelong dream to do something big. I've always loved singing, but have never had the confidence to do anything," I said grabbing Nathan's hand, "today, I auditioned for X Factor," the boys heads shot up. I didn't say anything.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" They all yelled in unison.

"I'M ADVANCING ON TO THE NEXT ROUND!" I yelled back, it finally sinking in. Nathan spun me around and kissed me. The boys started cheering and dancing around. I couldn't believe it. I hugged Nathan and began dancing around with the boys.

"Wait," Siva interjected, "why didn't you tell us you could sing?"

I turned red, "uh... I didn't want you guys to think I was using you to get famous or something," I was looking at the floor.

The next thing I knew I was on the floor being dog piled by the boys. They called it a group hug, I called it torture. I layed there for a moment, being bombarded, then tried to push them off. I couldn't, but they got the idea and got off. "Hey Emma, sing us something!" Jay yelled. They rest agreed.

"I don't know," I started. They then pleaded and begged until I agreed, "what should I sing?"

"What you did to audition, silly!" Tom said giving me a look like I was crazy. I sang the song and they stood there, speachless. I was upset, thinking I had failed and turned to run up the stairs. Nathan grabbed me and kissed me. It snapped the boys out of their trance.

"Holy crap. You CAN sing,"

"Sing something else,"

"Wow,"

"Good job Em,"

"That was amazing, babe," Nathan whispered into my ear. I blushed and he put his arm around me.

"I love the support, but I need to tell my mom, so bye for now," I said.

"Wait, no one knew you were auditioning?" I shook my head walking for the door, "aww poor Emma had to go through this all alone," Jay said. I smiled and walked out of their apartment and into mine. My mom was sitting on the couch.

"Where were you? I didn't think you'd be up before noon, let alone out by six!"

"Mom, I have something to tell you," I then went to explain the whole audition thing. "Mom, I made it to the next round." I said. She looked at me open mouthed and then jumped off the sofa and jumped up and down squealing. My mom usually stayed calm. This was crazy. We squealed ourselves out until I heard a knock at the door.

"Hey Em," Nathan said, surrounded by the boys, "want to go celebrate with dinner?"
