The video that I added to the chapter helps completes part of the story! Don’t play it until I tell you to!

“And, our final three are… Amy Burgess and Danielle and Her Girls,” the announcer revealed. Oh, I’ve come so far! Amy and I had been through everything together. Danielle and Her Girls was the group that Danielle, the girl from boot camp, had been put in. She took charge. Sadly, our first impression was right. I didn’t want to go home. I want to at least make it to the final. Come on, “and the final spot goes to… Emma Cabot! I’m sorry, but Josh, you’ve been eliminated.”

I just looked at Amy and she gave me the after-the-show-we’re-going-to-party-with-the-guys look. I knew it well enough by now. I always seemed to be the designated driver- not that I wanted to be drunk as a skunk. I have to say, it’s kind of fun being the sober one at a party. No one remembers exactly how stupidly drunk they were and you’ve got major dirt you can black mail them with later. Not that I would- as far as you know. All I’m saying is don’t get on my bad side. Haha, I’m just kidding. Maybe.

As soon as we got offstage I began jumping up and down in excitement. This was awesome! I was in the finals. Amy and I changed as fast as we could, getting weird looks from the group, and ran outside. The boys were waiting in their van.

“Congratulations!” Nathan whispered in my ear. I looked over and saw that all the girls were here. This was going to be fun.

At two in the morning I helped everyone stumble out of the bar. Man, they were pissed. Tom half- regained consciousness, and walked up to his room, pulling Amy with him. I plopped Siva and Nareesha on the couch, drug Max and Michelle to his room, and put Izzy and Jay on the love seat. I got Nathan up the stairs to his room. After I got him onto his bed and was getting ready to leave, he woke up. “Em, stay with me. Please?”

“Okay,” I agreed, too tired to argue. I ran to the bathroom, threw on one of his t-shirts, then I crawled into bed next to him and put my head on his chest and fell asleep. I woke up the next morning with Nathan’s arms around me. I tried to move them, but was stuck. “Nath,” I whispered, trying not to annoy the hangover her was sure to have.

“Don’t shout. My head,” he groaned.

“Come on silly, I’ll make you a cuppa.” I got out of bed and he gave me his arms to pull him up. “Really?” He just waited. “Fine,” I groaned pulling him out of bed. We walked downstairs to find Jay making tea. “Two more, please, Jay.”

“No need to shout.”

“Are you hung-over too?” He nodded. I laughed. All of the guys, Nareesha, and Michelle grimaced. I was glad I wasn’t them.

“What happened last night?”

“I remember getting to the bar, doing some shots, then nothing…”

“That’s what I remember… what happened Em?”

I shot them all a smile, “you don’t want to know.”

We had gotten to the club at eleven, and because we were all somewhat well know, got to skip the line and go to the VIP section. Everyone ordered a round of shots, while I stuck to soda. After just two rounds, everyone was gone. Jay and Izzy were dancing drunkenly, Siva and Nareesha disappeared, Max and Michelle were throwing more shots back, Amy and Tom were making out in the booth, and Nathan kept wiggling his eyebrows at me and doing his fly impression. I was laughing so hard. This went on for three hours. Honestly, I’m surprised I was able to gather everyone together and get them to the van. Actually, a bouncer helped with Max and Tom…
