Mickey, walking next to Lip and Debbie, made his way through the doors of the police station in the middle of no where.

"Hey, I got a call about my brother being in here? Ian Gallagher?" Lip stated to a police officer, who was standing at the front desk. He turned around to face them, once they approahed.

"Yeah, that's me, I was the arresting officer." The man stated, his hands on his hips, looking exhausted. "Does your brother have a history of mental illness?" He asked Lip, who nodded. "He was acting irrationally. He left a little girl inside of a hot car, and ran away when we tried to question him." He explained, making Mickey mumble a curse, as he blinked fast to stop himself from freaking out.

"Is the girl okay?" Mickey asked, with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah, she's sleeping in the back." The man nodded, before looking back at Mickey. "Is she your brother's baby?"

"No, she's mine." Mickey answered, in fear that Rosie would be taken away from Ian and himself, too. Lip tried to not react to his response, as he remained quiet.

"Who are you in relation to Mr. Gallagher?" The man asked Mickey.

"His partner." Mickey stated, but noticed the look on the man's face. "Lover? Family? You know?"

"Yeah, well, we sent Mr. Gallagher to the E.R., gave him a sedative; seemed to calm down. But, he's clearly a troubled kid." The man looked at all of them, to get his point across.

"Is he under arrest?" Lip asked, another worry rising.

"He's gonna face some charges, but we're not gonna hold him. His car went to impound, and you won't be able to get that processed for a couple of days, and you'll have to pay the tow charges. You need to get him some help." He said the last part a little louder, for all of them to hear clesrly.

"Yes, sir. We know." Lip said, with a breath.

After much convincing that the men in the blue uniforms were only trying to help, Rosie had fallen asleep at the station, only to be woken up by a pair of arms lifting her up, but she was too tired to mind them. It wasn't until she peeked open her eyes to see them going down a hallway that she started paying attention. Opening the small gate, the man, who Ian was scared to death of earlier, had taken Rosie straight to safety, where Lip, Ian, Debbie, and Mickey were.

"Yours?" The man asked, with a small grin, assuming it was an adoptive relationship. Mickey could breathe a sigh of relief when he saw Rosie, lazily blinking her eyes open.

"She's a cute kid. Got one about her age at home." The man said, grinning down at Rosie, momentarily, before Mickey went to take her, as Rosie held out her hands towards him. "You're a lucky man." The officer smiled, as Rosie was pressed against Mickey's chest, where she could start to rest a little more peacefully, now.

"Yes, sir. Thank you." Mickey stated, nodding slightly, before pressing his forehead against Rosie, turning around to go back to the other three, waiting. Picking his head up, slightly, he laid a small kiss on her head, closing his eyes, momentarily, to keep himself from crying.

Mickey glanced over, seeing the two red heads sleeping next to him in the back seat of the car, just as the sun started to rise. Ian rested his head on Mickey, as Rosie rested hers on Ian's lap.

"We need to get him committed, even if he doesn't want to go." Mickey said, staring back out the window. "We can just. . . tell 'em that he kidnapped Rosie, they'd have to take him. There's gotta be some 'danger to others' law, right?"

"No, it could be complicated." Lip shook his head, slightly, as he glanced back.

"Then I'm just gonna call the fucking cops on him. Tell them that he put her in danger. They'll lock him away for a while." Mickey stated, shaking on his words. "Least he'll be getting some fucking help."

"Rosie's his daughter. They won't do anything." Debbie stated, from the front seat, making Mickey sigh as he knew she was right.

"You did okay, Mickey." Lip said, looking in the rearview mirror at them. "You know, you tried. It's a lot more than what most people would do."
