"I'm sick of your crap, Adam! It's over!" He tries to pull you away from the car but you already shut the driver's side of the door. You quickly drove off to block out his pleading cries.
The sun was almost halfway down, meaning your little brother Dark was home from school. Once you got into the house Dark immediately knew what went down. He hugged your arm quietly as you whimpered trying to avoid letting out your pitiful sobs.
Adam was the greatest guy you met so far, he was everything to you. But, of course that never lasted long. He threw your life away, joking about you with the school bullies, inviting you to parties that ended up as a 'trap (y/n) inside a closet full of (worst fear) and record it' party, and let's not forget that time he took a dare to cheat on you with four other girls.
Dark helped you overcome Adam by watching Disney movies with popcorn, while quietly whispering his calming sleeping spell before you drift off into the familiar, dark abyss. Even though Dark was a demon, he still cared for your mortal soul. Dark was originally adopted by your Aunt, but was later casted out to your mother because of his abilities. Your mother had a very busy job as a fashion designer, so she had you watch over him most of the time......well, it was more like Dark watches over you.
A few months later, Dark finally got you to go on a blind date with a girl named, "Alyssa." Dark said she was interested in music, art, and marvel comics. You had some things in common which was good. Quickly, you got changed into a casual, light blue shirt with the words 'whatever' in the middle of it, along with some black jeans. Dark gave you a thumbs up and waved goodbye as you headed for your car.
The restaurant where Alyssa wanted to meet was at, 'Peel'. (It's a real place...with pizza) A girl sat outside the restaurant, scrolling through her phone. You approach her and introduce yourself as (y/n). She shook your hand saying she was Alyssa. Her blue eyes sparkled with excitement as you were called up to the counter for reservations. "Party of 2, Alyssa and (y/n)." She exclaimed to the fake smiling lady at the counter. She took two menus and placed them down on a table in the corner near a large window.
You both sat down and tried to start up a conversation. "We are really bad at this." She chuckles. "Yeah..." You both laugh for a few minutes until the waiter comes and takes your orders. They leave, taking the menus with them once you ordered. "I heard you like music.....what kind?" You ask.
"I like Shawn Mendes a lot and (favorite artist) too!" She giggles. "Cool." You pull out your phone to check the time. 6:15....Alyssa notices your personally sketched lock screen of space, she seems impressed. "I see you like to draw." She says as she wiggles her eyebrows. You nod. "It's really good!" You blush and mumble a thanks.
The waiter came back with your food steaming hot. It looked mouth watering. Alyssa immediately dug into her mozzarella pizza once the waiter left, so did you.
You finished your food after she did. Both of you decided to split the bill in half afterwards. I had fun
today....maybe we should do it again sometime." She blushed. You nodded as you both leaned in. GOT EM! Alyssa slipped her phone number into your jean's pocket and left to her car.
Dark came to the door and hugged your leg. "How was it?" He asked. "Great! She's so nice and pretty!" You exclaimed. Dark's express saddened. "What's wrong?" You crouched down to his level. "Will you replace me?"
"I could never replace you, Dark! Your my bro!" You squeezed onto his trembling body. He clutched onto your shirt in return. "I love you." He whispered. Dark had never said those words to anyone before.........
"I love you, too."
