The broken regalia {Yukine x reader}

Chapter 17

*Your POV*

I jumped up from my bed in a cold sweat, panting from what just happened.

"Lady Tsukani, are you alright?" I heard a voice say in worry. I looked over to see Takata, my head Regalia, with a worried look.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said and rubbed my head. What was that. "Are you sure lady, you have been asleep for three days." She said in shock that I responded that way.

My eyes widened. "Three days?!" I said to her also in shock.

I got up from bed and walked straight to the small bath house. "Did I miss anything important." I said to Takata while I stepped into the warm water and relaxed.

"No, you haven't. We've all been worried about you." She said. "That's good, tell everyone that I'll be heading out soon." I said to her and sighed. 'who was that boy?'

~Timeskip~

Once I finished and was dressed I walked into the hall where my few regalia were standing. "Good morning lady Tsukani." The four of them said with smiles. I smiled back at them and turned to Takata.

"I'll be back in a bit, I'm just going to walk around the city." I told her and looked back to the other three.

I smiled at them and waved. "I'll be back soon." I told them and walked out of the small shrine.

I liked to walk around the city and admire what humans do everyday. Since they can't see me easily, I tend to just stare at whatever seems interesting to me.

I walked down a street and looked at the small stalls that were selling food. It smelt good as I walked past.

As I turned a corner, I was stopped by someone crashing into the bin next to me. They got up quickly and started to run again until they ran into me.

"Sorry." He said and looked behind him. "It's fine." I said. When I said that, he paused.

"How can you see me?" He asked me while pointing to himself. "You must be a God too." I laughed at him.

"Yato!!!" I heard a female voice yell. Bishamon?

That guy, Yato I guess, hid behind me in fright. Just at that moment, Bishamon ran up to us and looked furious.

"What are you doing here?" She said, slightly annoyed, Bishamon and I don't have the best friendship.

"Who is she!?" Yato yelled.

"She's Lady Tsukani. A young god. No one knows what kind of god she is so she's not that popular, much like you." Bishamon explained before running up to Yato, swinging her sword.

Yato quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me away while also running away from Bishamon.

After a while of running, we stopped and waited for Bishamon to leave the area. We were sitting in an alleyway when someone ran up to us.

"Yato what the hell, why did you just run off." An angry voice yelled as I heard Yato get hit.

I looked up to see a boy with blonde hair. When I saw him, he reminded me of someone.

We both made eye contact and our eyes widened. He stood there with his mouth open before we both said something at the same time.

"y/n?"

"Yukine?"
