They were having a nice time together. Watching movies, filling up on junk food, telling stupid jokes, it was like they were just two normal teenagers being a normal couple spending a normal night together. It just felt normal and she loved it. Y/N loved it when they got to be 'normal' especially since everyone was graduating in a few months. Well everyone with the exception of Liam, Hayden, Mason and herself. She was only a junior while the other three were sophomores but that wasn't the point. The point was that there were only a few more months before the days like this, that were few and far between as is, were going to be even fewer and further between. She wanted to savor every second she could with Scott before he went off to college and she was stuck roaming the halls of Beacon Hills High School without her boyfriend and some of her best friends. Today she planned to savor every second she could, with no beasts, nothing else in the entire world that needed their attention she was ready to spend every waking second by Scott's side and, if she could convince her mother, even sleep by his side that night. That had been her plan but it seemed like Scott had other Ideas.

Half way into their third movie Scott's phone dinged. He answered the message then it quickly went off again. Y/N looked at him as he stared at his phone. He looked between his phone and her several times before standing up and putting his phone in the back pocket of his jeans before leaning down to kiss her.

"I gotta go do something for Mom. I'll call you later." Y/N could feel the atmosphere around him change. This isn't the first time it happened and the last week or so it seemed to happen every time they were together.

"Don't lie to me Scott McCall."

"I'm not lying." Scott gave her and innocent smile before leaning down to kiss her again. This time she leaned away from him.

"Yes you are. I might not have super senses like you but I can tell when my boyfriend is lying so what is it? Is it another supernatural creature I'm not 'allowed' to be involved with? Or maybe you're seeing someone else?" Scott laughed at her assumption.

"Y/N don't be ridiculous. There are no monsters and there most certainly is no one else."

"Then what is it?" Scott looked at his feet before he answered.

"I can't tell you." She crossed her arms over her chest, concerned by his comment.

"You can't tell me? I thought we weren't going to keep secrets."

"We aren't I just-" She cut him off, turning back to the movie on the screen as she spoke again.

"Whatever Scott, just go." Scott stood their for a second, before making the decision to invite her along.

"Come with me."

"No it's fine-"

"Come with me." Scott pulled Y/N off the couch and with him out the front door. After a short ride on his bike Y/N realized they were headed in the direction of the Lake house.

"Why are we going to the lake house?"

"You'll see." It wasn't long before they were parked outside the lake house.

"What are we doing?" Scott laughed lightly at his girlfriend.

"Would you stop asking questions, just follow me." Scott took Y/N's hand and led her out to the boat house. Once their she could see strings of white lights hanging around the outside as well as the inside and it looked like everything had been mostly cleared out leaving lots of open space.

"What's this?" Y/N turned to see Scott looking at her lovingly.

"Prom."

"Prom?" Y/N gave her boyfriend a look of confusion.

"Well since you can't come of prom with us because you're younger we decided to set up a mock prom so we could all be together that night. This is what I've been running off to all the time. I wanted it to be a surprise." Y/N felt tears welling up in her eyes at the thoughtfulness of her boyfriend and friends. Scott took her in his arms and hugged her closely.

"Well I am certainly surprised. I'm sorry about what I said." Scott smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"It's fine. I did look a little suspicious I guess. I'm sorry for running out on you all the time with really flimsy excuses."

"They were pretty flimsy weren't they?" The two of them laughed and swayed back and forth with one another.

"Beyond flimsy."
