"You'll never be my first kiss or even my first love but you're everything I've ever hoped for, everything I've ever dreamed about and that means so much more."-Unknown
Scott sat with his legs stretched out the length of the couch while Y/N sat curled up with her legs out to the side, slightly leaning over the back of the couch. They each had a book in their hands, completely immersed in silence as the read. The silence caused Y/N's mind to wander. She knew a lot about her fiance, as one should, from the moment they became serious Scott had been open and honest with her about everything, supernatural and all. He told her about being a True Alpha and about all the monsters he and his friends had fought during his younger years but, there was one things she desperately wanted to know about, something he had always been unwilling to tell her.
Y/N looked at the ring on her finger and smiled a moment before turning to place the book on her lap and stare intently at her Fiance across the couch. She smiled, admiring every feature on his near flawless face. Y/N moved, placing her book on the coffee table before pulling her knees to her chest fully facing the man on the other end of the couch.
"Scott?"
"Yeah?" He said, not even looking up from his book.
"Tell me about her." It wasn't a question. It was a conversational topic she had brought up before, though Scott tried to play dumb.
"Tell you about who?"
She rolled her eyes at his game. "Tell me about the first girl you loved, I want to know about her."
"Why do you want to know about that stuff?" Scott asked, still not looking up from his book.
"Well we're getting married, and I want to know everything about you. That includes knowing about your first love. Even if it wasn't me, especially if it wasn't me."
"You don't want to know about her, that's all in the past."
"But it's your past, and you've put it off this long already I'm not giving up this time."
Scott sighed, setting his book on the coffee table. "Alright Baby, come here." Scott opened his arms wide, Y/N crawling across the couch to lay her head on his chest. "Where do you want me to start?"
"The very beginning."
"Alright, well, it was the first day of sophmore year..."
Scott spoke about Allison for hours, he spoke about their first date, their first kiss, he even glanced over their first time having sex. Y/N didn't interrupt him once, listening intently through the very end of his story.
"And then she died. She died saving our friends, lying in my arms and saying she loved me. I loved her so much even though we hadn't been together for sometime; she was the first girl I ever loved and there will always be a special place in my heart for her."
Silence enveloped them once again, and after a few more moments of lying still Y/N pushed herself away from Scott and moved to get off the couch. She quickly made her way into the kitchen for a glass of water. While leaning with her hands against the counter Scott came up from behind and wrapped his arms around her.
"I'm sorry I asked." Y/N's voice was small, hardly above a whisper.
Scott wrapped his arms tighter around her body, placing his face in the crook of her neck. "You didn't ask, you kind of demanded."
Scott lifted his face and Y/N turned around in his arms wrapping her arms around him in return. "Well now I wish I hadn't."
"Why is that?"
"Because now I'm worried. Worried that you loved her more than you will ever love me."
Scott looked at her in disbelief before lifting her up onto their counter, moving his body in between her knees. "I could never love anyone more than I love you. I have never loved anyone more than I love you. Just because she was my first love doesn't mean she will be my only love. You are everything I could have ever wanted. You are intelligent, kind, witty, loving, beautiful beyond belief, and your Dad has never tried to kill me." The couple let out a slight chuckle between them.
"Well at least i've got her there." Y/N put her arms around her fiance's neck, putting her forehead to his.
"Seriously, don't compare yourself to her. You are two different people. I am going to spend the rest of my life with you and I couldn't be happier about it because you are everything I have ever hoped for and dreamed about and that means so much more than any first love ever could. She may have been the first but you are going to be the last and the only one that really matters in the end."
"God I love you Mister McCall."
"Not as much as I love you Future Mrs McCall." Scott pecked her on the lips, pulling her closer to the edge of the counter.
"I could get used to that." She pulled him in for another kiss , this one long and passionate.
"Mmm, me too. What do you say about taking this upstairs?" Scott asked, using another kiss used to punctuate his question.
"I say why not right here."
Scott pulled away slightly, eyes wide and a giant grin on his face. "I fucking love you."
