"I'm really not feeling the Christmas-spirit today," Y/N muttered while standing in front of the mirror, she saw Scott in the reflection. "And I really don't want to go to this party at work tonight." She really did adore the way she looked in her new red dress, but the thought of going to a party without Scott made her frown.

"I could watch you in this dress all night. You're so beautiful." Y/N turned around to meet a smiling Scott.

"Are you sure you can't come with me?" she pleaded while turning around to the mirror again. "You'll be able to see me in this dress the whole night." Y/N flirted and Scott raised an eyebrow.

"As much as I want to, you already know I can't." Scott started and pushed her hair behind her shoulders. "You know I'm meeting Deaton down at the clinic tonight, we're going to take care of some stray dogs a girl found yesterday." He explained while kneading her shoulders.

"But I really want you there..." Y/N tried as Scott shook his head.

"No Y/N," He then turned her around. "But I'll be the one picking you up afterwards." Scott reminded and Y/N let out a loud sigh. "Fine." She muttered and Scott left the room so she could fix the last things before leaving the apartment.
Y/N looked out from the window and once again the frown found it's way to her lips. "Stop doing that." Scott said, noticing the emotions on her face.

"What am I doing?" She wondered as Scott laid a hand on her thigh.

"You're frowning." He stated, causing her to snort and turn her face outside the window again. "It'll be fun!" Scott assured as Y/N gave him a vague smile, then laid a hand above his.

They went around the last corner and were now in front of her work building. Y/N opened the door and was on her way to step out but couldn't since a hand took hers.

"Hey, no kiss?" Scott asked with a smile and she sat down in the car again.

"Of course, I'm sorry." Y/N apologized and leaned in to give him quick peck on the mouth. She pulled away, giving him a real smile before she stepped out from the car.

"Have fun!" Scott yelled through the car window. She waved before he drove away, watching until he disappeared around the corner and she decided to enter the building.

She took the stairs up to the party, still trying to avoid the party. It wasn't because she disliked her work or the colleagues, she just wanted to spend the night home with Scott instead.

They wouldn't celebrate Christmas together this year since Y/N parents moved from Beacon Hills a month after she moved in with Scott to their own apartment. She wanted to spend as much time she could with Scott before leaving town.

Her breath became heavy after finally reaching the fifth floor, she could hear the music through the hall as she walked towards the entrance of the office. When she turned around the corner she could clearly see the bright lights from the Christmas ornaments and she heard people talking, laughing over the loud music.

She stopped in her path just outside the entrance of the office and took a deep breath. "Okay. You will have fun. You're not gonna nag about not seeing Scott for the whole Christmas weekend. You're gonna talk to others and you're not standing in a corner to pout." She whispered to herself.

When she walked to the entrance she immediately met up with a colleague of hers, the only one she could endure. "I didn't think you would come!" She squealed, probably drunk as she hugged Y/N.

"I was afraid you would miss out Santa's visit." She explained and dragged Y/N in her arms towards the office.

"I'm not in the mood for meeting Santa." Y/N muttered but went towards the center of the office anyways, she flinched at the sight that just invaded her view.

"What's this?" Y/N asked in confusion while widening her eyes. "What are you doing here?" she asked and approached the last person she thought she would meet at the party.

"Wanna come sit on Santa's lap and tell him what you want for Christmas?" Scott exclaimed when she saw Y/N staring at him with her mouth wide open. He patted on his knee in a gesture of her to come and sit in his lap.

"I'll take a seat but that's all I want for Christmas."
