Chapter 7

/5 months later/

"Scarlet, isn't it your birthday today?" Nathan asks me as I giggle.

"Um... I think so why?" He hand me a gift that says:

To mommy,

Happy Birtday.

From Sophie.

I smile and open it.

She got me a locket with a picture of her inside.

"Where is she?" I ask.

"I'm here. Don't you like it?" She asks while climbing on the sofa.

I give her the biggest hug ever.

"Oh baby, I love it." I tell her truthfully as she hugs me back.

"Yay! Daddy, did you hear that? Mommy loves it!" She shouts excited as I laugh a little.

"Here's my gift." Nathan says as Sophie goes into the kitchen followed by Nathan before they re-enter holding a box.

They place it on the table.

"That's later. Put this on."

I put on the blindfold before they lead me somewhere.

Soon I feel the cool air hit me.

"Right, you can take it off in 3... 2... 1." I take of the blindfold and can't believe my eyes.

"WHOA!" I scream.

"Go on, try it."

"I will be back."

I put on a helmet and back it up before starting off and going round the block on my new toy.

I arrive back home before turning it off and taking my helmet off.

"Nathan, this is amazing." I say.

"How could you afford it?" I ask as he smiles.

He bought me a motorbike.

A FUCKING MOTORBIKE!

He takes me inside after the bike gets put in the garage.

Now I get to see what's in the box.

I open it and see spray paints and stuff like that.

"Go decorate that art room." Nathan days as I decorate with my spray paints.

I sit myself next to Nathan.

I'm absolutely knackered now.

I rub my hand over my baby bump slowly before going to get some food.

Once I sit back down I put my feet up.

My slightly swollen feet are absolutely killing me.

Yes, I'm 5 months pregnant and yes, I'm still gonna do crazy things and no, I'm not gonna stop.

I am free.
