Chapter 5

What did I ever do? What did anyone do to get her to act like this? And why? those sluts aren't better than us at heart. So what was it?!?

My head is throbbing and I can't see through my glassy eyes. I hear footsteps walking towards me and I don't care. I keep on walking, my head down. I try to find my way to the other girls bathroom, across the school, when I realize that someone is pulling on my sweatshirt hood. I wipe my eyes and swiftly turn around. I don't know what to expect.... Well, Anyone except HER.

Yes, Cassidy stood right in front of me. CASSIDY is the grade's biggest slut. She's dating someone knew every week. Actually, every day. I can't keep up with her numerous boyfriends it's so annoying! But I don't even get why a guy would want to date her. Sure, she's not ugly but guys are so stupid when they know her rep of dating, 'doing (;', and ditching, so why would they waste time on her? Oh wait... Cuz. Ew. I bet, now that I think of it, that she's great in bed. Wow. The guys in my grade -.-

'I am TALKING to u, ms nobody!' Cassidy screeches in my face. I instantly snap out of my thoughts and scowl at her like 😒

'What do u want' I ask. My voice was meant to come out all strong and fierce but ended up shaking and I had failed miserably.

Unfortunately, Cassidy noticed. She scoffed and loudly chewed her gum in my face for what felt like the longest and grossest moments of my life before answering, 'I could hear u from the hallway, jade' (she spat my name out like it was a burnt piece of molded cheese) 'and I'm just here to warn u that u better stay away from Nicole. She just doesn't like u anymore and u r going to have to accept that. Don't be such a wuss. She's better than YOU and she's with US now. Oh and keep ur horrendous voice down at lunch. U hurt everyone's ears u idiot.'

I cringed as I remembered me yelling in the cafeteria just 5 minutes ago. It feels like it's been a month since I did that.

Before I could snap back a come back to Cassidy, she snapped her fingers and strutted away with two of her minions. I hadn't even noticed they were there.

Sighing loudly, I bent down to tie the shoe lace of my converse. They always get untied so randomly. :/

As I'm deep in thought about what just happened while tying my shoe laces, Nicole storms up to me. I just want to be alone , and she's the last person I'd want to see now.

'WHAT' I groan.

'Oh... Nothing' she replies, a sickly sweet smile forming on her face .

This is not good.

I'm still wondering what she's planning when she steps on my fingers and snickers as she turns and runs away.

'OUCH!!!!' I scream as a billion pins stick into my poor fingers. I look at them and they are throbbing. The pain is unbearable and I'm afraid I broke my fingers. Well I didn't break them, Nicole did, and she will pay. I nearly scream with rage, but watch myself because quite frankly , I'm still supposed to be in the cafeteria.

Tears well up at my eyes because of the pain, but I don't wanna cry again. I run to the nearest bathroom, not caring who's inside, and wash my face with cold water. Then I stomp to the nurse's office, who hands me a pack of ice after questioning me about what happened. I lied and said that someone, idk who, stepped on my fingers while I was tying my shoe laces. Well, at least it was only HALF a lie. Mrs Lola, the old gentle nurse whom I loved, nodded sweetly and handed me an ice pack. She made me bend my fingers, which I could, and told me they're not broken.

Thank God.

Clenching the ice pack in my sore hand, I storm back to the cafeteria, where I plan to tell my true friends about what happened. We will figure out a way to get through this, and maybe even get some revenge. ;3
