He's god damn smart, I'll give you that. And I found myself off guard .... I was actually enjoying talking to him! I know, weird, right?! I have got to end this. Because okay, now I guess he's a decent guy, though he flirts with unknown people on the Internet, like me, on ask fm. Umm... Have all those assemblies about stranger danger not taught him ANYTHING?! Oh right, he was probably never listening to them. Probably was thinking of ways to rebel against the adults of the school is some mischievous way!
I couldn't help but smile at the thought of little Hunter, planning his evil schemes, being the only elementary student with his hair messed up in a handsome fashion (i did NOT just call him handsome) and not thinking that girls have cooties, rather 'boobies'.
I shook my head, laughing and looking like the idiot i am, and stared out my window, at Nick's window. Suddenly, his turquoise curtains were swung open. He pulled up his window swiftly, as if it wasn't heavy at all, which, trust me, it is.
"Wanna come over? My parents aren't home, and neither is Joey. He has soccer practice." Joey was Nick's younger broski. He was adorable I tell you, especially for an eleven year old.
"Sure!☺" I happily replied, and gladly hopped from my window to his. That's not very easy. My legs always seem to somehow get tangled in between the window sills and it's not comfortable at the least. But rather than making fun of me, Nick just grabbed my waist and hoisted me off into his deep blue bedroom. It was slightly uncomfortable with him being so... Irregular. I mean, normal guys would just tease me, right? Sometimes, he seems different, and... Too sweet I guess. It's nice, don't get me wrong. I'm just curious of his odd behavior. I sure have been looking at people differently these days.
"So..." He rocked back and forth on his heels. "Whatcha wanna do, girlfriend?"
I blushed slightly. He doesn't even try to hide his "undying love", as he puts it, for me.
I rolled my eyes and scampered to his laptop.
I hastily logged on (because I know his password... It's 'swagalicious' 😂😂).
"Heyyyyy!" Nick laughed, "whatcha doing noww?" He drawled his words and I have to admit he was acting like a cutie. I hugged the device to my chest and backed away from him. He kept on inching closer to me, until I was against a wall.
He whispered, "tell me what you're doing....?!" It came out like a husky little whine. I threw my head back laughing and shook my head.
"I can't tell you!" I exclaimed matter of factly, "it's a secret!"
"Oh a secret on MY laptop? I think I should have the right to know miss jade"
We went on like this for god knows how long. I didn't even know what I was doing with his laptop! Just being an annoying perky girl I guess. It was a distraction for me to do this. A distraction from my father, and the sluts, and Hunter, and Rachel.
A pang of guilt hit me like an arrow as I realized I was using Nick. My smile faded a bit, and I guess he noticed.
"What's wrong, jader?"
"Nothing..." I smiled more brightly. "Race you downstairs!"
I ducked around him and darted down the stairs and into the kitchen, flinging open his fridge because boy, I was starving!
"No fair!" Nick said. He was actually panting! "You got a head start!"
I simply shrugged as I grabbed a bowl of strawberries and plopped one into my mouth. He opened his mouth like a giant oversized fish, begging to be fed. I did as he requested, and he hugged me in gratitude. He likes physical touch. I squirmed out of his grasp and we just sat there, feeding each other strawberries.
Out of the blue, Nick just stood up and began to walk towards the basement.
"Uhm.. Where are you going ? Don't leaaaaaaveee meeeeee heeeereee alllll alooonnneeeee" I whined with mock grief hinting in my childish voice.
He chuckled, "all right, jader, I'll be right back. Don't miss me TOO much!"
I snapped out of my child-like persona and scoffed. " I won't, trust me. "
Nick's hands flew to his chest in mock surprise, and his jaw hung open. "Well... GASPPP"
I burst out into a bunch of giggle fits, not even realizing that he had left and came back, now holding a tiny plastic bag in his hand.
I relaxed at last, wiping away laughter tears. I sat up and squinted at the bag, then at Nick's beaming, yet unsure (hmmm... ) face, and then back at the bag. There was something in the bag...
What was that....?
