"Umm I don't know, why would you want me to stay out here since you just got me back" I ramble out confused.
"All we are saying is come home for a little while so your family can see you and know that you are ok but you should be out here in case someone else shows up." My mom says calmly
" but but..."
"Your brother is still out here and I don't mind you staying here it will be nice to have help and company."
"Thank you Phil, and I'll only stay if it's ok with all of you."
"Good than its settled, why don't you pack a few things, she's not going to be back to pick up her 40s things she hated the uniform. Then you will be on your way home."
I nod and head back upstairs to pack some of my clothes wondering why my mom and dad agreed to this not just agreed but came up with it. I thought I was going to be so far from them in Albany in the place I grew up but now I'm right under their noses. I hope that they are doing ok it took a lot out of me to write those letters. I pull out my backpack from underneath the bed. That is when it dawns on me that Phil must of moved all my stuff to this world or at least a good amount of it. I started pulling a few dresses off the hanger and then went into the drawers trying to find things that would not be questioned by my family. I have changed a lot over the past two years. Once I have a good amount of clothing in my bag. I sigh and sit on the edge of the bed letting out a sigh looking around the room.
"They are doing what they told them to do live, well at least the ones I talk to are"
"Thanks for telling me I'll write when I get back here, have they written anything? "
" no but I bet you will have something when you get back, for now though your parents and brothers are waiting you should go"
"You're right thank you for everything Phil I'll see you soon" I say getting up and giving him a hug goodbye.
The car ride home was a quiet no one said anything not that I really could and I think my parents just didn't know what to say. I knew I could do one thing though without being questioned. I could write my life down and people would just think I was writing stories how could I ever tell them that I was in the Comic book universe without getting mentally checked out. Even if people did believe me some would flip out about how much danger I was in and would never let me go back so they could keep me safe.
Three hours go by so fast while you are lost in thought. I walk up to my room without saying a thing to anyone. I just want to crash on my bed...nothing nothing was changed in the 2 years.
"Mom and dad couldn't change it, I think Loki is happy about that" Nick says coming up behind me nodding to the cat on my bed.
"I think I'm happy about that now if you don't mind I'm going to put the cat out of my room and go to sleep"
"Ok sure remember though Grandma and Grandpa R want to see you tomorrow."
" I'll keep that in mind but I don't know if I want to see people just yet."
My brother nods his head and walks down the hallway to his room that he's crashing in for the night. I Turn and walk into the bathroom across the hall. Closing the door I strip out of my dress throw it in the hamper, then wash my face and brush my teeth. Once i was done in the bathroom I head back to my room I pull on a tank top and pajama shorts. I go to crawl into bed only to realize the damn cat is still there.
"At least you aren't the real Loki" I mumble to the cat as I pick him up and place him outside my room closing the door on him.
"Maria! vhere are you going?"
