Chapter 13: Missing you come home please

 Wanda walks into the kitchen with a look of worry on her face. As she looks around at all the Avengers including Bucky who is now living there, she get even more worried.

"Wanda what's wrong?" Gabi asks seeing to look.

"Have any of you seen Pietro?"

"Now that you mention it I haven't seen speedy in a few days." Tony says looking over math problems.

"Has anyone seen him?" Steve asks putting the paper he was reading down.

"No, it doesn't look like it." Bruce says

"Friday, can you locate the other Maximoff please." Nat says

"He is not in the building Miss Romanoff"

"Friday, search the planet for him." Tony says putting his work down.

"I can not locate him sir" the AI responds after a few minutes.

They all look at each other with looks of shock and worry on their faces, how could Pietro not be on earth and how hell have they just noticed that he was missing, Yeah a few weeks after Maria left he was depressed but we finally got him out of her room. By Christmas he was mostly his old self again. It's now the third day of the year. As they sit there worried trying to figure out where he could be Gabi lets out a gasp.

"Ellie what's up?" Steve asks.

"Stevie you don't think that he's....." she asks trailing off.

"No, that's not possible, they are not finished, there's not way he could be...."

"Stop being cryptic you two. That was Maria's job" Clint comments

"Give us a few Clint, shouldn't you be with you family anyway" Gabi snaps "Bruce how are those things going?"

"I think I'm done but I didn't decide until today, you don't think?" Bruce asks catching on.

"I don't know, Tony how is that code going?"

"HA! just finished" He yells slamming the papers and calculator on the table.

"Whoa, you can't be suggesting that he's there" Bucky speaks up.

"Well...."Gabi says

"That's no why him?"

"Buck no time to get jealous," Steve states before asking "Do either of you have either her number or his?"

"Before I ask what the hell is going on can I ask how none of us noticed he was not at the New years party"

"He vas here for it, he just didn't vant to go, I zhink Maria came to his mind so he ditched" Wanda answers "But you are right even I barely saw him before zen."

"That is not the problem right now, finding him is" Vision comments uncharastically.

"Ok ok he's right so what were you guys being all cryptic about.?" Tony asks

"He might be.." Gabi starts

"No! I refuse to believe that he is with her." Bucky almost yells

"It's a possibility" Gabi says trying not to yell at him for picking now to be childish

"Why Him? I'm from there and those two weren't even finished with their projects." He yells. "Plus he didn't even know about it."

"Calm down buck. You both have points, but we can do anything about getting there or finding him unless everyone is calm. that includes you." Steve says sternly.
