-Novaa's Point Of View
The next day I woke up to loud laughing downstairs. I was annoyed. I woke up at 2 pm since it was a Saturday.
I got up off my bed and walked downstairs. I had already woken up in the a.m and did my morning routine but I was still tired after so I went back to bed.
I went towards my God mom and saw her with Cleopatra...along with her two kids.
"It's about time you've woken up" my mom said
I squinted my eyes
"Cleopatra is going to take you to her house today while I head out"
Jahseh stared at his mom then me
I shook my head No and went towards the fridge to get a water bottle
"Yes you're going, you need to communicate more"
I sat down and opened my bottle .
I had saw Aiden glance at my water bottle a few times so I got up and offered him one and he gladly took it
"Thank you" he smiles
I nodded
"Really a head nod Novaa? Use your words" my mom said
Jahseh shook his head at my mom
I got up frustrated and went to the living room.
"Elise, it's okay, I get annoyed when Jahseh does the same" said Cleopatra "eventually you'll get used to it"
"I hope" said my mom
My mom and cleopatra started talking about nails and stuff which made Both Jahseh and Aiden leave the room and head to the living room.
"Is that a dog?" Aiden asked pointing to my husky that was just laying down relaxing
I nodded
"What's his name ?"
"Milo" I said lowly
"So that's how you sound like.." Jahseh chuckled
I raised my eyebrow
"Soft ass voice " he mumbled as he went on his phone
"I like her voice" Aiden smiled which made me give him a small smile "can I play with milo?"
I got up and headed towards milos food and and got a hand full of it and handed it to Aiden and nodded
"Yay" he smiled taking the food and racing towards Milo
I watched as Milo got excited to get attention by someone either than my mom and I. It was cute.
"Okay You guys let's get going" Cleopatra said
"You too Novaa" my mom added in
I sighed getting up and walking towards Cleopatra.
" I swear you'll have fun" she smiled causing Aiden to smile as well
"Yeah you can hang out with me " Aiden said while tugging onto my shirt
I smiled at him and began walking towards the car
About 30 minutes later we arrived at Cleopatras house. It was huge. Nicely decorated...nothing my mom could afford.
I simply sat down on the couch watching tv with Aiden while he laid on me. I think he was getting too attached. I didn't want to be impudent and push him off because he was a kid but I didn't like the attention.
"X!" I heated a familiar voice yell
"Nigga fuck you yelling for? Sit your ass down" Jahseh said as Ski appeared
"Your ma just left she told me to tell you to watch Aiden and some bitch named Novaa" he scrunched up his face at the last part
I turned my head and stared at him. Contemplating whether I should murder him or leave him alone.
"She's not a B word" Aiden fired back
Jahseh chuckled and walked towards the tv changing it to some rock music
It was nice...soothing. I was bobbing my head to the beats and closed my eyes
"I think she likes it" Ski said as I opened my eyes confused onto why it mattered
"You fucks with it ?" Jahseh asked me
I shrugged then nodded
"Mhm...what about this" Jahseh asked changing to another song which was also rock but louder yelling"
I listened for a few and watched him use his laptop to lower the noise and add different beats.
I got up and took the laptop from his hands and played with the different keys
"Ayye no one said you could take it shit" Jahseh said as he tried to take it back but I moved his hand slightly
I added a guitar beat in the begging then drum sticks being hit together. I think had the best stop in the middle of each other cause it to come out fresh. I then began playing with the voices making it a little high, but slower then I cut the beat leaving it to the guitar
"That's actually dope vro" Ski mentioned as I played with it a little more before stopping
I have him back the laptop and went back to sitting with Aiden"
Jahseh took his phone at and recorded the original one then the one I created and posted them both.
"The fans likes hers better" he said lowly
"Aight I guess we going with that then" ski chuckled
I raised my eyes brows
"You're actually cool to hang with " Ski said which made me roll my eyes
