Blind sided part 2

Katie's POV

I drove home and ran upstairs to get ready for the walk tonight. I curled my hair, put all my makeup on and slipped into short-shorts and a T-shirt that said: Don't take life too seriously, you never get out alive anyway. I went back down stairs to see Paul watching T.V. I loved this man so much! We walked out the door hand in hand straight to the forest by my house. We were talking about rouges when we were at the entrance to the forest. I switched the subject and asked where my Pack House was located. He responded with a smile and said "i was just going to take you there." We walked for about an hour and finally arrived at the Purple Half Moon pack house. I enter the Huge over sized mansion of a house and everyone stared at me. I was really nervous and Paul gave me an encouraging nudge. I shakily said "Hi everyone, i... am ..i'm your alpha female... Now that..um... my parents are gone...i'm uh... new at this so...uh.. i brought the Black Moon soon to be alpha with me... he's.. my..uh.. mate. The staring subsided but the silent conversations where growing. Paul whispered to me quietly "You have to speak with an air of confidence in your voice. I cleared my throat and started again, "Purple Half Moon Pack. I am your new alpha female and if you have a problem with my ways i will kick your ass. You will listen to me, but you will see me as a friend not a stuck up bitch. Is that clear to everyone?" I finished. Paul looked at me amazed. Everyone's talking completely stopped and the cheering broke out. I walked around to meet and greet the new faces. When i had enough I said good-bye to everyone and Paul walked my out back into the forest. We were in the open area and my house was in sight. Then all of a sudden, my arms and legs and muscles started hurting. My bones felt like they were on fire and I started to double over in pain and started crying. Paul was there by my side and held me tight, is touch made the pain hurt a little less, but i was about to start screaming. I looked down at my arms and they started growing fur all over them, i looked up at Paul with a worried look on my face. he could easily tell what i was going through and how much pain i was in and he hugged me a little tighter. The next thing i know my clothes are in shreds and Paul is looking at me with relieve in his face. I looked down and started panicking. I was a wolf! I looked back at Paul, but Paul wasn't there, i started freaking out when a Black wolf with the tip of its ear white and fierce blue eyes. I looked at him and recognised the eyes, he was a wolf! I looked my self over, i was all white, with a tip of my tail black. I had one light purple eye, and one brilliantly baby blue eye. They showed power, but also friendliness. I looked over at my mate in curiosity and with love. I nuzzled him with my nose and we cuddled together.

Paul's POV

My mate has finally shifted, i was so happy for her. And her eyes were amazing. She was a little taller than the average wolves but that was because of her alpha blood. She was the exact opposite of me color wise and she was still beautiful in wolf form. I loved my mate so much. We cuddled together for a while then i told her through mind links if she wanted to race home. At first she was startled and she glanced over at me, then looked at me with confusion. Again through mind links I told her How to talk to me through mind link. She cocked her head and gave it a try. She said hey why not. So i stood up and said ready, set, GO! I was in the lead but only for a couple of seconds, she flew past me and howled so I could hear. I tried to pick up my pace, but she was just too fast, soon i started to almost catch her, when she turns to look at me and picks up her pace at least twice as fast as she was before. I told her to slow up and told her i easily lost. She slowed up and nipped at me. I told her we could just walk the rest of the way, we finally arrived at the house and she asked how to transform back into human, i rolled my eyes and said just focus on being human. She shifted back into her human form and looked embarrassed because she was naked. she unlocked the door and raced inside and up to her room. She came back down in her pajamas and looked amazing. we cuddled up to each other and fell asleep.
