More to it than I Thought

Katie's POV

I was so scared when I looked down, where Blake's dead body lay, now lay... nothing. He faked his own freaking death! Damn it! Just when I felt relieved! I looked over at Paul with tears in my eyes, he looked startled when he saw that there was no more body. I looked around and saw something else on a tree, it was all messed up with claw marks, I raced over to it with Paul, and I fell to my knees as I read what it said, "I'm coming, I'm killing, and I'm taking charge!" I saw another note on a brick by another tree, I slowly got up and shuffled towards it. and it said "when I come, it will be when you least expect it, Sweetheart!" That is when I lost it, I cried, and cried, I pound my fist into the ground in frustration, I couldn't believe what was happening! My life was going to be a living hell if Blake was out there looking for me, and planning to kill both my mate and me! I cry my eyes out, I am only slightly comforted when Paul comes over and pulls me into a hug.  I was still crying when Paul said, "Listen baby girl, we can stay at my house with my parents, they have been asking me to take you to meet them. Oh, but here is the bad part, I have this freaking 16 year old sister. But we can get through this together, my parent can protect you, I will look out for you!"

I sniffled and said "Okay Paul, but what about the Pack?"

"I can make sure my beta and your Omega will take care of it."

"Okay Paul"

"Love you Katie"

"Love you to Paul, thanks"

"any thing for my little teddy bear!"

I giggled then said "well anything for my big puppy dog!" He just rolled his eyes and laughed. I stop crying and walk up to thr house with Paul, and bandage my leg and cuts up. we tell everyone the plan and we walk to the car to drive to his parents house, this was going to be a very exciting time!
