Katie's POV

I was sitting next to Paul at the side of his hospital bed when he looked up at me and said "Katie, I am glad you are here with me. I love you." I smiled down at him and asked "who was that creep at my house?" He looked up at me and said "it was Blake. He was going to be alpha until i was born, so he knows if i die, he becomes alpha, so he has attempted to kill me before, that was why i was so calm." "Oh i get it now." i said. I leaned over and gave him a hug knowing that we would be together forever.

Paul's POV

I was explaining to Katie who had tried to kill me when she leaned over and gave me a hug. I didn't want to let go. I mean how did I ever live without her in my life? I loved this girl so much and my wolf was begging me to mark her but i definitely knew she wasn't ready for that so i knew i had to be patient. I kissed her forehead know it would comfort her. I had a plan on what we would do tonight.

Kate's POV

He kissed my forehead gently, comforting me, i really loved Paul, he was my mate, and I wanted to go on a walk with him into the woods tonight so we could talk over everything, about Blake, the Rogues, and also about Us. I knew i was in love with Paul because none of my other relationships felt like this. I released Paul and he looked a little sad that it all ended. The nurse came into the room and gave Paul permission to leave. He swung his legs over the side of the bed and went into the bathroom to change into the clothes that the nurse had given him. He looked so cute. I couldn't wait to home with him again.

Paul's POV

I walked into the bathroom to change into my clothes, i couldn't help but to think how nice it would be to be alone with Katie again. I planned on talking her on a walk to the forest tonight to tell everything that is going on. I also was going to show her to her pack house. I changed into my other clothes and walked back out to see Katie waiting for me. Damn, that girl was beautiful! We walked out of the hospital arms around each other's waist. She drove to the house and got ready to go while i sat on the couch watching T.V.

She had no idea what was going to happen....
