Later that night I was working on my make-up, hair, and clothes. 

DING-DONG I ran down the stairs and met Paul at the door. "Hi Paul come on in." "thanks Katie" as he came in I invited him to sit down on the couch. As he sat down he looked at me wih a sorry look on his face. "listen Katie, you're a werewolf, and your parents were Alpha of the pack house, and those business trips they were visiting the pack your pack house. And Katie I'm sorry, they were killed defending the pack house by rouges. Which means you will be alpha female." I just stared at him tears in my eyes, why didn't they tell me this!?! " Paul, are you joking?" "Katie I really wish I was, I'm here for you though." "But Paul, what do you mean by I'm a werewolf? And how did you know about this?" he said "I a werewolf in the pack of Black Moon, they were close to the Purple Half Moon pack, which is your pack, I was there when the rouges attacked. " but Paul, why didn't you stop them 

?" "because Katie, I was busy with three other rouges." I had tears rolling down my cheeks, I was so confused, sad, and really really depressed. I looked up at Paul and said to Jim through shakey breaths "Paul, I am really scared, what if the pack doesn't like me? What if I'm not good enough? Paul I really need you." " it's okay Katie I am here for you, okay? He wrapped me in a hug and I didn't want to leave his arms. " Paul what am I going to do?"

Paul POV

I was so sad for her, she went from a normal girl to the alpha of the pack. I wrapped her in a hug and kissed her forehead. I tried to calm her, it was so sad, she didn't even know what a werewolf or alpha was. I was her mate and to see her like this killed me! "Katie, I here if you want to talk about it I know kinda why you are going through because I am the son of the alphas also. If you want to talk about just let me know because I am here for you." She looked up at me with the saddest face and said " Paul I felt a tingly sensation when I first met you, what was that about?" I look down at her, and said that means I am your mate, or like your soulmate." when her face brightened a little her mouth crashed into mine and we kissed. When she pulled back I was a little disappointed that the kiss ended but she said "Paul, thank you for everything, I love you, but I need to go to bed, but will you stay here just in case?" I looked at her and said "sure thing babe." she got up and went to her bedroom to sleep. Wow! I love that girl!

Katie's POV

I was scared to death by what my mate just told me. I fell asleep at last when I heard Paul enter the room, he gently leaned over and kissed my forehead. I smiled to myself thinking about him. He looked back before he closed the door.

Later that night I woke up from a nightmare, I ran down the stairs crying, Paul looked up and wrapped me in his arms. "Shh... Katie it will be okay I am here for you I will do what ever you will need me to do." I just stayed I. His embarase until I was calmed down and sat next to him on the couch and stayed up for a while until I fell asleep in his arms.

Paul's POV

She came down the stairs crying so I calmed her until she fell asleep in my arms. I thought about moving Her but she looked so cute in my arms so I left her there. I shut off the T.V. And cuddled with her. As I fell asleep I whispered softly " love you Katie." I smiled and fell asleep.

Katie's POV

I heard a noise in the kitchen, so I rolled over but I was still in Paul's arms, I gently shook him and asked him "Paul, did you here that?" "yeah I did but I thought it was you." we both sat straight up and looked around in the total darkness, then we heard the noise again. "Paul, I'm scared. Will come with me to see what it is?" as we slowly got up, Paul picked up flashlight he found. "Okay Katie, let's go." he said confidently. I looked up at him in admiration. As we slowly walked to the kitchen I gripped Paul's hand a little tighter. We walked in to find a man sitting on the island in the middle of the kitchen. The figure. Slowly stood up and stood about 2 feet away. "did you miss me Paul?" the figure said. He slowly started coming closer to us and was really scared. Paul just calmly stood there. "what are you doing here?"Paul said. "Paul who is he?" I said with a worried sound in my voice. The figure slowly reached in his pocket and pulled out a knife and stabbed Paul in the lower thigh. I screamed and started to panic. Paul just looked from me to the other figure and looked down at the knife plunged into his leg. I started yelling at the unknown figure and he ran. He ran out the door and the next thing I know when I look out the window is a wolf running into the forest. I looked back at Paul who has managed to pull the knife out of his thigh. I was scared crapless and Paul said something that made me laugh and hit him gently " hey, Katie, do you think you would be able to sew and get the blood stains out of my pants?" I just laughed and said "yes Paul, I think I could do that." "hey,um, Katie, would you mind maybe taking me to the hospital now?" "oh yeah sure thing Paul." we drove to the hospital and got his leg wrapped and taken care of.
