Katie's POV

I was so scared, I didn't know when the next time Blake would attack next... I have gotten NO SLEEP for 3 days! Paul has been tosssing and turning through-out the nights, I don't know if he could tell I was scared or if he was just as scared as me.

I turn over and look at the clock to see it reads 7:00 A.M. I got out of bed and I thought I had better go down and eat breakfast with Paul and his family. I saw his sister, she was one of my best friends... her and I got along GREAT! I loved Paul's parents, and they loved me, they were like my parents, well my second parents, I loved his family! I sat at the table between his sister and my mate. I begin to shove waffles into my mouth, they were just SOO good!  I stop and wait for Paul to start eating, but he didn't take a bite, I began to move my hand closer to his, I connect our hands, but Paul doesn't respond, I rub my hand up and down his back he responds with a soft kiss. "you Okay Paul?"

"Yeah, why do you ask?"

"you know, I was wondering the same thing" his mom said

"Yeah Paul, You didn't respond for the longest time, and you haven't even touched your food!"

"I-I-I- I'm just deep in thought thats all." he finished the subject, but I was going to bring it up again later this night. we all finished or waffles and Paul and I go up stairs to our room. "Are you sure your Okay?"

"Yes Katie I'm FINE!" he said annoyed.

"I'm sorry I am just worried about you, because I care and love you."

"I know, sorry Katie, I am just stressed about Blake..."

"Me too..."

"well, I guess I know my parents are here for me and you are here for me, it is just like I feel like I am begin watched I guess..."

"Yeah, well what can we do about it?"

"Nothing. And that is what makes me pissed off!"

"I know Paul, you just want to protect me and your family, but it is hard to do, which puts you under a lot of stress.."

He smirks and says "how do you get me like that, it is as if you read me like an open book?"

"because Paul, I love you, and we are mates!"

"I know but, it is just not ordinary mate know the other ones feelings unless they mark them, then they can read each others emotions, thoughts, feelings like you do know..."

"well I don't know... maybe we are different?' I suggested.

"yeah maybe..."

Paul's POV (about time to!)

I couldn't help but feel like I was watched... I brushed it off and hopped into bed by Katie. I was almost sound asleep when I heard a loud noise by our window, and for a moment I was scared shitless, I saw Blake's eyes,  but then just like that they were gone... and all I heard was the same noise, but it was because of a tree branch by the window hitting the side of the house. I thought about if I really did see his eyes or not... I second guessed myself and thought it over and decided I just imagined them. The rest of the night was horrible! I tossed and turned, I just kept seeing those eyes...

(still Paul's POV)

I woke up nd rolled over to look into the face of my beautiful mate... the only thing is... she wasn't there! Damn it! Blake kidnapped her, I did see those eyes, and he freaking took MY mate! I jumped out of bed, got some different clothes on, and raced down the stairs, I was going to find my mate! I raced down to the kitchen to see a worried look on my parents faces, a confused look on Katie's, and a really wierd face on my sister's face. Wait, what, my mate wasn't gone, she was still here? So I did imagine those eyes? I ran over to katie with tear filled eyes, I didn't care if it wasn't manly to cry, I thought I lost my mate for god sake!

A/N: Did you like it? What did you think about Paul when he thought he lost his mate? I would have paid to see your reaction! Well quick question? Did paul really see the eyes? Or did he just imagine them?
