"Aahhhh!" Stephanie Ruiz, a short twenty-one year old, brown eye'd, biracial beauty with neck length wavy chestnut hair exclaimed. She practically bloomed with enthusiasm and her wide pearly smile was bright from left to right. "It's love isn't it?"
Stephanie's brown eyes smiled and sparkled and her audience bought into her performance. As a top gun real estate agent at Evers Real-Estate she was a high quality asset at making her buyers feel home before even really knowing if it was the perfect home for them. Stephs stats were great and she had already sealed, signed, and delivered seven sales in the beginning month of June to her boss and secret lover John Evers.
John put his dark hand around the small of Stephanie's back and winked at the middle aged couple that stood before them. Today Evers Realestate were selling, or trying to, a two story, yellow toned, country style home in the suburbs of Orange County to the Jenkins family.
"Sometimes you walk into a house and you take one look around and you just know." John said, his smile wide and his face just as lit up as a Ken Barbie doll. He released Stephanie's waist and threw his arms up in the air and breathed in the amazing space of the upstairs in the house. "And you can't help but say, 'This is for me'."
Mrs. Jenkins, a blond women with a pointed nose and petite frame smiled like a third grader hopped up on pixi sticks. "Well, oh, I think it's perfect! It's just what we've been looking for!" She turned to her husband Mr. Jenkins, a large man with a receding hair line, bird-like nose and a pair of bulky thick glasses and hoped that he was just as excited as she was.
To her disappointment, her husband sneered. "There aren't enough plugs." His nose turned up at his wife and he spun around the open den and pointed to his issues of plugs with the house.
Stephanie opened her binder and peered at the list of beautiful homes the Jenkins family had already passed on.
"Hey wait, Mr. Jenkins, that place I showed you on Brown Street was absolutely and positively loaded with plugs. It's was newly remodeled and in a beautiful neighborhood."
"That's right!" Mrs. Jenkins exclaimed to her husband. "You know I was in love with the modern Victorian compromise of the home! And there were plenty of plugs hun!"
"But the steps were too high, when we get older, we could trip!" Explained Mr. Jenkins to his unhappy wife.
"Every house we look at you find something to pick at dear-."
"- I just know what I like." He cut her off in reply.
The Mrs didn't take too kindly to his high maintenance attitude. "Would you like a divorce? Because I'll bring it!"
"Hey, hey, hey, hey! There's no need for that!" John exclaimed to the couple, his arms flailing in disagreement to the discussion turn.
"Exactly, Mr. And Mrs. Jenkins there is no need for that..." Stephanie pointed out to them. "I'm going to find the perfect house for you, because I am committed to finding the perfect house for you. We don't care how long it takes, because at Evers & Evers, we want you to be happy forevers and evers." She specifically lingered on the catchy phrase John had come up with.
John Evers cell phone then began to ring to a honey, honey tune. The Jenkins family didn't know it but Stephanie knew it was Sarah Evers on the other end of the line. A huge jealous lump formed in the back of her throat and her eyes never wavered from John as he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out his IPhone 7.
