We ended up building a fortress with our pillows and watching The Big Bang Theory (It was my request) instead of movies

I felt a pair of arms around my waist and without opening my eyes, I wrapped my hands around his...I'm pretty sure that it's Sam though.

Sam's POV

God we slept so late last night I mean today because we slept at 3am so...

I slowly opened my eyes and...and..

Please tell me I'm dreaming

Kian's arms were around Jamie and they're like holding hands

Oh My God!

I stood up carefully and smacked the back of Kian's head

"Ow Fuck" He rubbed his head and Jamie stirred

"Oh shit" He muttered when he saw their position then stood up slowly

I dragged him to my room and closed the door

"What was that?!"

"I didn't know that I was even doing that! Oh My God I'm sorry" He explained

"Kian, if you like her, just tell me"

"I don't like her,okay? She's like a sister to me and you know that"

"You know what, I think I'm just being paranoid.Sorry" I apologized after my little explosion

"It's okay. I'm sorry too"

"Guys, what are you doing up here?" Jamie stepped into the room

"Uhhm.. We just didn't want to wake you up"

"Ohh. Well mom made breakfast"

"We'll be right down,Lou" Kian answered for both of us

Jamie's POV

"Are you feeling better Jamie?" mom asked

"Yup." my short answer seems to not have satisfied her but she didn't push the topic further

my phone suddenly vibrated in my pyjama pants pocket

g'morning J, can we hang out today? i miiiss youuu :(

A smile crept its way onto my face. Riley and I are really close but we've been soooo busy with school lately

To: Riley

aw I miss you too. sure we can, want 2 come over? :)

"Who you texting?" Sam asked me with his mouth full of pancakes

"Don't talk when your mouth's full! and it's Riley. He's coming over" Kian spit out a little of his water and Sam choked on his pancakes

"What?"

"Riley's comi-"

"No, I understand what you-"

"Why?" Kian cut in

"Because it's been a while. And he has nothing to do with what happend between Connor and I"

"Yes. He's Connor's br-"

"Hey what's with the bickering this early?" Dad stepped into the dining room

"Riley's coming over, dad" I said softly

"Oh. well uhhm that's.. good, I guess. I mean it's been a while. I miss having that kid around" He smiled

"So what was the problem with that?" He faced Sam

"Dad he's Conno-"

"Oh I see..but he doesn't have anything to do with that,Sam. And the kid probably doesn't even know what's going on"

The boys in front of me looked at each other and sighed

"Fine." Sam muttered

I laughed silently and as I ate my last bite there was a knock on the door

"I'll get it" I said and greeted Riley with a hug

"Was there traffic?" I joked

"Yeah and I live so far like 2 blocks away. God" He grinned and went inside

"Hey Sam, Kian" The two boys just stared at him

"We'll be in my room" I said and I could still feel their gaze on me as Riley and I went up the stairs

"So... What's up?" I asked

"Not much... But there is something up with Connor"

Just the mention of his name got me mad

"Can we not talk about him...please?" I said in monotone

"Uhm okay" He shifted awkwardly

"Well uhhmm do you know Maddie Thornton?" He asked

"Yeah. Junior like you right? And that girl is gorgeous"

"Yes. uhm well last Friday, I found out that she likes me"

"Oh my God, really?"

"Heard it with my own two ears" He smirked

"Did you ask her out?"

"Not yet. But I'm planning to and Toby's helping me find a nice place for a first date actually"

"Aww. Rileeeyyy's growing up" I pinched his cheeks

"Shut up. Anyways, can ypu please please pleaaaase tell me what is happening with you and Connor" he shook my shoulders and

"How could I not give in to that puppy dog face?! Jesus"

Kian's POV

"Hey Sam" I broke the silence

"Hey Kian" He mocked my tone

I rolled my eyes

"I know that it's not the perfect time for this and-"

"Stop with the suspense,man" He chuckled

"I know I said that I didn't...but"

"Cut to the chase, Kian. You're making me nervous"

"Let me talk,then" I said with a straight face which I rarely pull off

"Okay,go on."

"What if I do like Jamie?"
