**Prologue**
Taylor’s POV:
I woke up to the sound of a loud vibration underneath my pillow. I groaned running my hand under the pillow feeling around until I felt my phone. With eyes squinting at how bright the screen was, I slid it unlock and answered.
“Hello.” I said in a sleepy tone followed by a yawn.
“Hello, Mr. York?” The lady on the other end asked.
“Yea this is me.” I rubbed my eyes.
“Hi, this is Linda, your relator, sorry to wake you.”
“No problem Linda. Is everything alright?”
“Everything is fine, I was just wondering if you have some time this afternoon to come and look at this house that has been put up for rent this morning. It is everything that you and the Mrs. are looking for.”
I smiled. ‘The Mrs.’ I like the sound of that.
“Mr. York?” Linda said bringing me back.
“Oh, yea, sorry.” I chuckled. “Yea we have time. What time and where should we meet you?”
“Great. If it’s not too rushed, can you meet me at my office in let’s say hour, hour and a half?”
I nodded as if she could see me. “Sounds great see you then.”
“Bye- bye Mr. York.” She hung up the phone as did I.
My screen went back to being black as I pressed the unlock button looking to see that the time was just after 9am.
I looked over to my right to see Hayley still asleep. Her head against the pillow, her arms under her pillow as she laid on her stomach. The sheets only covered half of her bare back. She had a slight smile on her face as her back rose softly with each breath she took.
A part of me didn’t want to leave this bed and lay here just watching her sleep for hours. But I knew that we had a meeting to go to. I know that she missed having her own home and she was tired of living in a hotel room. And frankly so did I.
The past few days have been fun ordering room service at ridiculous hours and watching movies all day as we laid in bed. But it was time for us to get serious and built a home together.
I sighed raising myself up. I hovered over Hayley’s body leaning down trailing kisses on her bare back.
She giggled. “Taylor.”
I rubbed my chin against her as the stubble of my newly growing beard tickled her sides.
“No, no, stop!” She said lifting her body up fast colliding the back of her head with my nose.
“OW!” I let myself fall to her side only to find that she was on the edge. My back collided with the floor with a loud thump.
She laughed looking over the edge to see me lying on the cold hotel room floor.
“OH YEA!” I pulled the sheets until she feel on top of me.
We both were in fits of laughter when she stopped laughing and looked at me.
She stared into my eyes and exhaled.
“What?” I said blushing.
“Nothing,” she bit her lip. “I’m just questioning how did I ever get so lucky?” I chuckled.
